I initially purchased this blank notebook because I was in need of a new everyday sketchbook to bring around with me, however I was not expecting to receive such a high quality book! The pages are so creamy, and I really enjoy drawing in here. I just purchased my second book in another color. I love how many color choices there are! The pages hold up really well, and ink and (water based) markers are my mediums of choice when working in this sketchbook. Alcohol markers will have bleed-through, but I think that’s inevitable. The pages also take a simple layer of colored pencils well, however don’t enjoy the way they handle lots of layers. This paper is just too smooth for layering- which is perfectly okay! Overall, this is a great book for quick ink sketches or illustrations while on the go.

simple but a good sketchbook

This is a very reasonably priced item…I like the size and the rubber band to keep it closed. The paper is fine for pencil and pen, and probably markers. It will buckle with watercolor, but if you don’t use too much water, light washes or bits of color add “character” in my opinion.

Bought a few of these to use as a casual art journals. Love the colors, size, paper quality, and really just everything about them. They’re a great price and the cover looks and feels very nice. I especially love that when I draw in it the pages lay flatter than almost any other non-spiralbound sketchbook I’ve had. I use pencil and micron pen primarily which didn’t bleed through and I could barely see it through the other side. The texture of the paper is nice and smooth, it’s also a great weight, I was pleasantly surprised by its quality. It’s very sleek and I look forward to filling them up with all my sketches and then buying more colors…

Great product, I use it in the field for sketching in my architecture practice. I would rather have a bit more texture on the pages but overall highly recommended... go for it!

I’ve made this an affirmations journal/daily journal. it is so cute! Great quality as well as the paper. It is a perfect size. Not too big or too small. highly recommend and will be buying more!
