Easy Replacement
This unit was relatively easy to install for 2 people. You need a little basic DIY experience but not a lot. I have both tools and experience. This was a direct replacement for a topper that did battle with an overhead tree branch and lost. I was fortunate the old awning did not damage to coach, merely breaking at the support arms. The new brackets were easily installed in the exact location as the old, then the adjustments of the side to side fit was easy with the adjustable mounts. It took about 2 hours to complete and was relatively cuss free. That's high praise from me, where most projects suffer much more from the CUSS FACTOR!

Was easy to install AFTER I watched a video. Printed instructions are not very good.
Luckily I found a video on YouTube showing how to install this particular awning. The written instructions were very hard to understand and left out quite a few necessary steps.The product itself is very nice and the install was fairly simple after watching the video.

Wobbly topper
The topper arrived with a bend in it. It wasn't noticable until it was installed and I watched it roll in and out a couple times. It causes fabric to roll up uneven and creates wrinkles. I wouldn't recommend.

Way cheaper than dealer installed.
My wife and I installed a ten footer over several days. Be careful not to over tighten screws and strip the hole, especially the smaller ones for the rail. Ended up starting screws with a drill and tightening by hand.

All of the screws were missing. Took a good 2 hours to locate something that would work. Easy installation after that.

The name says it all
Solara is the name associated with slide out awnings on Rvs. The install was easy. Well built. No complaints. Just buy it as they are the best.

Great product.
Installed in 2.5 hours. Was quite easy to do with the help of my wife. Looks and fit is great. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.
