The unit we purchased sat in storage for a while and the gaskets were dried out. At least, that was the explanation from Delta. No worries. Delta support provided free replacement parts. Their warranty is "lifetime" and Delta has been accessible and helpful to us. The replacement parts did not have instructions but a call to Delta resulted in help via online video. Even then, Delta didn't quit. Delta remained on the phone until I finished the parts replacement.I think our unit looks more solid and luxurious than the Amazon photo. After replacing the gaskets, I liked the feel and control of the valve. I am also comforted to know that the parts to maintain it are free (via warranty), affordable (if I don't want call Delta) and fairly generic. One replacement part fits most of the Delta faucets.

This Delta faucet has been the cat's meow for us. Have used about 5 months now with no issues. It looks good, it performs better! I just love having 2 separate controls, 1 for pressure, 1 for the water temp. Once you can't used to that, you can't go back. Once the temp valve is set, you never have to change it like you do with a single control valve or with the old 2 handle bath controls. Oh sure, different people will set it differently but it's pretty easy to remember where you set yours and once you dial it back there, the temp is very close with no guessing! The only drawback as others have noted, is when it's new, moving the temp control valve may turn the water pressure handle at the same time. So you will have to use 2 hands. But only for awhile. Give it a few weeks and then as it "breaks in" the water control valve can be moved independently!

This is a great faucet. The design is elegant and the function is perfect. Since the temperature setting stays the same, you can turn it on and it will go back to the same temperature as the previous shower. If you don't change the temperature setting very much, when you do go to change it, the big handle (water flow) will move with it. Not a big deal. Every so often I'll just move the temp control back and forth to loosen it up and that cures it. I am thinking the more it is used, it will eventually not have that issue. I'd buy this unit again. However, Amazon shipped me the wrong one originally and it obviously had been opened. There were parts missing. To Amazon's credit, they immediately shipped another one (that was correct) and it arrived in two days. Shipping the first one back was easy.Update 1/21/2016 After a few weeks use the temperature control loosened up as expected and now does not move the flow control at the same time. I highly recommend this faucet.

It had been a few years since I had installed the bronse shower handle, this is the same shower handle different finish. I admit I had to read the directions. Some of the internal parts are plastic and can be easily broken during installation. Just take your time and don't force anything and it goes together fairly easy.

Writing on Valve is hard read.

Love the way these function. Set your desired temperature and then leave it for next time. Works well.

It's a statement piece with solid feel. Love having the separate control for temperature. Set it once. Can pause the shower while shaving/shampooing and then resume water flow without having to adjust temperature. Has classic look that is timeless.

I like the ability to control water volume and temperature separately. Also, I like the quality of the product except that the temperature lever arm is plastic and clips into place. I am concerned that it might break if it has to be removed, a screw to retain it would be better. The temperature limiting mechanism came as a surprise and the instructions on how to install it are not very clear. However, I finally figured out how it went together and it works to limit how much the temperature lever arm can be rotated so as not to have dangerously hot water.

Very good built, it work well. I use it every day, it controls temp and flow very well.
