I wanted knife blocks in my new pull out cabinets. The manufacturer said they stopped offering this option in this size (rev a shelf insert). Instead it came with three (useless) metal canisters for throwing long utensils into. Took out two, and put these in the spaces. Perfect fit. I now have the knife blocks I wanted. Recommend these.

Exactly what I was looking for. Heavy enough that it does not tip over. Holds my few extra knives without issues. Nice granite appearance almost perfectly matches my cookware.

This little knife block is pretty great! I put 4 smaller knives and 9 large knives in it and there is still some room left. It looks great too! I haven't had to clean it yet, but I could see where it might be a slight hassle, but probably not a big deal. It hasn't tipped over despite have large/tall knives in it. It wouldn't hold my knife that has holes in it - it kept catching on the groves and holes, but no biggie, I we'll just keep that one in the drawer. I love that you can just stick the knives any which way you want in there, unlike other knife blocks that have certain sized slots for certain sized knives.

Pros: The design allows almost any size knife to fit, and any type of knife - I had a heck of a time figuring out how to store ceramic knives if I wasn't going to use a block. Multiple knifes can fit (I bought the large cylinder) - I would guess 7 without it looking too crowded. It appears easy enough to clean, it appears to be well made (though it is plastic so a tad cheap looking), and it appears like it will last a long time (no obvious failure points).Cons: I don't like the black with white specs and I wish there were a myriad of color options to choose from amongst the different sizes and shapes.I would recommend if you are on the market for something like this.

Bought this as a knife holder for dirty knives in the sink. Should have read a little more. No drainage so it traps good stuff. If you are using for counter top knife storage - I don’t see why not - but for $50, why aren’t you just buying a $200 set knife set that includes a knife block? She’ll looks good from far, but is noticeably plastic within 3 feet. Decent weight. Ok buy - just not sure why

To be honest, this knife holder IS nice, but too small to actually hold 12 knives. Especially the longer ones. But we are keeping it because my Wife doesn't like the wall magnet one we already have. Oh well. But for a condo, or apartment it is nice.

I bought this knife block because it had a removable plastic insert. It was important to me that I could clean the knife holder properly. The plastic sticks insert used to hold the knives is fairly easy to wash, rinse and dry. It works as expected. I recommend this product!

Relatively light in a cheap sort of way, but the pattern looks nice in person and the functionality is excellent, fits a chef knife, bread knife and pairing knife well.However, it came somewhat damaged, fixed it with tape from the inside.

Very nice. A little bit pricey. But this is perfect for one or two knives.
