Not up to the mark. No value for money.
I was looking for a mechanical keyboard after my Logitech membrane keyboard of 10 years broke down. I was looking for a keyboard that was big in size (100%). RGB was not a big requirement for me. But the Wrist rest and 100% layout was.The design and looks of this product really attracted me. I was never a fan of Amkette before. I remember buying blank CDs from this company, usually, they don't make good products, but something about this made me think I should try it out.I bought it around June 2021 for Rs. 2600.Pros -1. Good Build Quality (Even though it's plastic)2. The Attachable/Detachable Wrist Support is amazing. It helps you type for long durations without giving you any fatigue.3. Has a good range of function keys.4. It was really responsive in fast-paced games like CS, Valorant, and Overwatch.Cons:1. The RGB lights started to malfunction within 6 months of use.2. Overprised at 2.6k. If you get under 2000 it's okay, but anything above, you definitely have better options. Redgear, antesports etc.3. Some keys don't show up when pressed right around 13-14 months of use right after the warranty ends. Sometimes multiple values will show up even in a single press. H, Numberpad 6. It is really annoying if you are typing fast and these keys don't respond. You get less productive due to these typos.4. They did not give a hook to remove the mechanical keys while cleaning. You have to pull out each key manually, which is a time-consuming and irritating task.

Great keyboard, but not for tinkerers
My logitech wireless membrane keyboard gave up on me with space bar key stopped functioning. This gave me an excuse to try something different. This is my first foray into mechanical keyboard and so far I'm liking the feeling of typing on this keyboard. It's probably not about effeciency or comfort but rather I think it's just different, more plush and fun. The whole setup feels very good because of mechanical keyboard. The RGB lights are just their for show but i dont think they are meant for adding any functionality and I don't look at the keyboard while typing so it's not important for me. The lights though are preset so not sure how it sets against the competition but there is not much customization available. The main reason I went for this keyboard is because of palm rest option and I didn't find anything else available by the competition. The redgear shadow blade wasn't available at the time which did appear better VFM and more recommended option.

Best value for money!!
I bought it a month and a half ago and i have been using it for mostly gaming. Till now its working great. The keys are very responsive and shifting from a membrane keyboard it a huge upgrade. I bought blue switch version and one thing to concider is that its very loud , so you should keep that in mind while buying it or maybe go with other type of switches. Overall build quality is good and keycaps are good but the lettering on transparent part in not very precise and for me it dosent matter. RGB modes works as described and they actually look good which i didnt expect being the keyboard this cheap. I havent used any premium mechanical keyboard so i cant compare it with that but for this price point, i think its the best you can get. I bought it for around 2.5k but i have seen it go as low as 2k rupees. And the provided palm rest thingy is not very comfortable and for me using the keyboard without it is more comfortable. All in all at this price its one of the best keyboard you can get if it lasts for long time, which only time will tell ;)

Problem with left control key
Ok so i bought this keyboard about 4-5 days ago, arrived on time - looked good and everything. From the moment i plugged it in and started using it - I noticed that the left control key wasn't really working properly and to make the left control key work - i literally had to press really hard on it to make it work. Even the replacement keyboard that i got has the same problem. The keyboard is nice and all, looks good and feels good while typing or gaming but this little problem made the situation go from good to bad.

Best budget mechanical keyboard available now
The media could not be loaded. Evo Fox makes good gaming peripherals. I have used their Fireblade keyboard before which was awesome. So when it came to buy a mechanical I went for the Evo Fox Katana and I wasn't disappointed. Got this for ₹2,500.Typing on this is a pleasant experience which I look forward to everyday. This has Otemu blue switches which are the chinese made equivalent of Cherry blue switches. Very clicky. The keyboard itself is made of plastic. Has a brushed metal texture and is very heavy, almost 700 grams. All the keys are individually backlight. Its rainbow color and not RGB, so you cannot have single colour in all switches. But there are many led effects and this keyboard can be customized via a software which can be found in the Amkette website. One small issue is that the led effects do not work on the "2" key in the numpad and this is a problem in everyone's model. Some manufacturing problem in every keyboard. If you want to see a more in-depth review of this keyboard visit my Youtube channel "Life Reviewed" there you will find Unboxing and full review of this keyboard.Hope you liked this review. Stay safe and I will see you in the next one.
