Excellent gift item for a cat lover!
I'm on the fence about this brush set. Everything is well-engineered and well-made and it comes in a nicely packed case. The dematting comb is clearly a heavy-duty item but I can't imagine a cat sitting still for it (it's even tough getting a dog to tolerate a dematting comb and they are much more forgiving). The rubber tip brush is excellent for skin massage, or for working up a lather if you bathe you cat.It is an excellent gift item for a cat lover.

Not a balanced weight
I'm trying to decide if I like this brush or not. It's heavy in the hand, but not very well balanced. Swapping out the heads is easy, and this five in one pet brush did come with a bag to store all the pieces in, but... why would I bother? I find it easier to have five brushes lying out so I can just grab the one I need and discard the one I'm done with instead of having to fuss around with the heads. Each individual head seems good quality, though, with good bristles and a secure fitting into the brush. It's clever how they hid the combs in the back of the brush. I just... again, it's much easier to lay out my self-cleaning brushes and swap between those. Especially since my cat likes to grab and gnaw on the brush I'm using on him, so while he's chewing on one, I can pick up another. With this brush, while he's chewing on it, I can't brush him.Nothing about this brush is BAD. Everything is really well made and good quality, aside from the odd weight balance. I just can't see it working well with my style of cat grooming.

Decent, reasonably priced cat brush and comb set
This Particular Petz 5-in-1 cat brush set was available to me through the Amazon Vine program. I have a long haired cat named Bear, who sheds a LOT, so I wanted to give this set a try. It contains:* brush handle with comfortable grip* 3 brush heads (bath/massage, pin, bristle) which swap out easily* 2 combs (dematting, deshedding) which attach to back of brush handle and also swap out easily* cleaning brush for removing hair from brush and combs* carrying bagI tried all of the brushes and combs on Bear. For him, my favorites are the pin brush and the deshedding comb. Oh my gosh, I could not believe how much fur the deshedding comb removed!! See picture; that is from just one combing session! I didnāt find the bristle brush removed much hair from Bear; it may work better on shorter haired cats. I do not bathe Bear, but I plan to use the bath/massage brush to give him an occasional āmassageā; he'll love that. He did not have any mats for me to work through at this time, but the fine tooth dematting comb seems like it would be good for that. I only used it to comb through his fur.One thing I have gotten spoiled by is that I normally use self-cleaning brushes, where you simply press a button and a plate moves forward, making clean-up a snap. These brush heads donāt offer that feature, so clean up takes a little bit longer. To remove the hair from these brush heads and combs, you use the included cleaning brush. All in all, I think this is a decent brush/comb set for cats and is reasonably priced. I plan on using the deshedding comb on a regular basis in hopes there won't be so many ātumbleweedsā (tufts of black hair) all over our floors! This set is made in China.

Great giftable multi-function brush
I really like this brush and think it's a great deal at the current price of about $20. The set includes everything I needed and feels pretty sturdy. I am concerned that frequent brush changes and my clumsy fingers might lead to broken parts or buttons, but so far it has held up well, even when I had no idea what to do. I'll update this if I have any issues with that. The instructions are ok but didn't really say what to do to attach the smaller combs to the back. I figured out that you kind of tilt the small attachment and pull it out. Then it's just a matter of tilting the other attachment at the proper angle and popping it in. Then you slant the little cover so it props the brush up and you're ready to go.The pictures on the page and the review show this better than my photos did, and they are true to what I received. I'll add some of the back comb so you can see what I'm talking about and that it really is removable. I'm also adding photos of the instructions, which also describe the different attachments and what they do. The grips feel pretty good and overall the brush works well. The bag is a nice touch, too!Since the weather is getting cooler, I'm having a hard time being able to tell which brush or comb is really working the best for me, but come spring I am going to give this thing a heavy workout. Comparing to other brushes I have and what they are for, these do seem like they should do the job very well. I would definitely recommend this brush and would call it a great deal at about $20, it would also make a great gift.

Good set but cat is on the fence about them
This is a good set for someone who may have a new cat and needs a whole starter set of brushes and combs. It has about every kind of brush or comb you could use, so it is a great way to get it all in one place instead of buying individual brushes, which may be more expensive. My cat is not so sure about these though. The first time I pulled out a brush, he actually got up and ran from it before it even touched his fur, which is very unusual for him with brushes. He usually will at least grab and sniff a new one. I have no idea if there is a scent to them I cannot smell. So we are using his older one, and I will gradually work him up to this set. I would prefer there was not one handle for the brush heads to be changed up on. It does save resources, but when it comes to brushing cats, that is something I can overlook when he is being fussy and I may need to grab another brush fast. I took off a star for that and the odd behavior of my cat towards these new brushes.
