Although it comes with an attachment for a cordless drill driver, I’ve had better results once I’d adapted it to fit my grinder. Just think it needs the revolution speed to do its job, but OK otherwise.

I had to cut a tile round an incoming gas pipe with only 1" clearance from the side wall and was dreading it. This diamond cutter made the job easy. Certainly couldnt have done it without this tool - worth every penny

I’ve been helping a mate out with his plumbing business and have been fitting a fair amount of bathrooms and kitchens with him, so when I saw this little conical tile grinder was available for review, i thought I would grab it to give it a try.The bit is made from steel, as you would expect and is fitted with a 5/8'' thread for direct attachment to many angle grinders. The particular bit has a maximum diameter of 35mm and the outer surface has a diamond coating, making it great for enlarging holes in various hard materials, such as tile, ceramic, granite and marble.In the pack, you also get an arbor adaptor than can be screwed onto the bit, leaving you with a standard hex shank, so that it can be fitted to a standard drill chuck.***** In The Box *****1 x 35mm Cone Grinder1 x Arbor Adaptor1 x Plastic Storage Box***** Conclusion *****I haven’t had the need to actually use the product yet, so cannot comment on it’s performance or how long it will last for, at the moment.However, I can say that it does look and feel like a decent product and it will be ideal for enlarging holes in tiles, cleaning up rough chipped edges you often get with hole cutters and for creating nice bevelled edges, which not only make for a neater looking job, but can also help prevent cracking.Unfortunately the thread size and diameter are too large for my small grinder, but the arbor adapter means I can still use it with my drill.I also really like that it comes in it’s own plastic storage case for protection.The price seems to be pretty much average for this type of product – so worth considering.

The media could not be loaded.  No good what so ever , basic ceramic tile and can’t go through it , a complete waist of money

Very good tool helps you to ground your tile exactly how you want. It’s worth the money.

I used this bit to chamfer a drain hole in a concrete sink and it worked great. I also used to to enlarge a hole in a ceramic tile and that also went well. For the price it did what I needed even if I never use it again. I feel that there is still a good amount of life left in the bit.
