TREK High Protein Flapjack Morning Berry - Gluten Free - Plant Based - Vegan Snack - 50g x 16 bars

I love these TREK Protein Flapjacks, especially the Morning Berry - they are perfect for when I'm feeling hungry. Made by the same company who make the Nakd fruit and nut bars (Natural Balance Foods), you know that they are made from 100% natural ingredients.Although I did find these flapjacks cheaper in some supermarkets, be careful as they are only 40 gram and not the 50 gram that you get from Amazon. You can notice them quite easily, they are the ones where you get four in a box for approximately £2.50 which works out 16 for £10. With them being only 40 gram, they won't be as filling and contain as much protein as the 50 gram.UPDATE: I have been receiving some boxes recently which have been badly damaged (as if they have been dropped), or have so much tape on them that the box gets damaged (torn) when trying to get at the product. I'm not sure if these boxes come pre-packed from the manufacturer or if they are packed by Amazon. Either way, they should not be arriving in this condition, especially with the excessive amount of tape which suggests that they are not pre-packed as the manufacturer would not supply their boxed product in this way - I certainly hope not anyway. I have informed Amazon of this issue and suggest that you do the same should you receive any boxes in this condition.As the product was undamaged, I will leave my initial rating of five stars as is for now until I receive another order in a few weeks. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved by then. Update 5th March 2021: The last few boxes have been arriving in good condition, so this issue seems to have been resolved.

The product is pretty good in my opinion - it tastes natural and has (mostly) natural ingredients.I much prefer it than the protein bars with the rather artificial taste and ingredients (eg sweeteners).It is not too sweet which is good and it is really easy for the stomach.The price is very good too.Perhaps it would be better if it had a bit less fat (eg 6g instead of 10g per bar) if possible but if this makes compromises to the taste or ingredients then it is better to stay as it is.Lastly, if it had even more healthy/organic ingredients then it would be absolutely supreme.(Perhaps also it would be also interesting to see a TREK flapjack with whey protein at some point?)

Nice tasting protein bars. Good for post workout or to take out walking etc.

...and I've tasted many. I'm on my second box of the Morning Berry. They're gluten free, have a great texture (not too crumbly/not too cloying) which, in conjunction with the tart hit of Berry, makes for a very satisfying chunk of protein. If I was being picky, I'd prefer lower carbs than the 12g per 50g but if you plan your macros and work out, you can still indulge whilst maintaining a keto eating plan.I do warn you, however, that you will need willpower once you've tasted these. I could happily wolf all 16 in the box within a couple of days, so do what I do and keep them out of sight on a high shelf.Thank you for reading.

Great bars however it was advertised as 16 bars in the box and ours only contained 15!!! Slightly disappointed

Nice healthy and filling snack to grab when in a rush. Great that it’s also vegan and gluten free!
