The sound quality was excellent, but as soon as I walked more than 5 feet away fromThe receiver, I got static and dropouts. I updated the firmware and made sure I was in line of sight. This was in doors. I didn’t test it outside. Outdoors may be different, but for the money, I expected performance. When I opened it, the microphone did make a rattling noise from the inside the microphone. This could have affected the performance of the mic, but for the heavy use that I would have put it through, I would rather buy something else.

The is nothing better than a shure mic. The sound is amazing. The difference better it and other brand is clear.

I have this set for the past 4 years. The overall build and sound quality is fine but the main issue is the voice shattering/cutting during the speech and I can't use it for live. Broadcasting at all. It is not because of the distance or blocking the line of sight or specific channel. The 2.4Ghz is simply not a good frequency for this application. I would recommend buying UHF ones. Avoid this!

Overall, this is a decent mic but beware of the 2.4 GHz frequency band. If you are in a building with wifi, you WILL have issues with these mics no matter what they tell you. We bought 8 of them because I am a HUGE fan of the Shure QLX line with the beta 87 capsules. These seemed to be similar so we gave them a shot. Should have just bought 4 of the QLX and waited to upgrade the other 4 mics later. We actually ended up replacing all of these mics with the sennheiser EW100 because that all we could afford after dumping money into these. I'm not saying they won't work for anyone but we were very disappointed in these mics. Do your research and maybe rent a couple for a show first to try them out.

Love how clear and loud voice is projected through this. Not heavy either. The rechargeable battery is awesome... lasts forever. No more worries about battery dying since the number of hours remaining is displayed on the transmitter. You know when to recharge. Overall, very happy with this product. Pricey but worth it.

What a disappontment with this new Shure wireless Beta 87 system. The signal briefly drop out for a second or so once in a while. I am only less than 20 ft from the receiver. It is completely not acceptable for a UHF wireless system . I presently own 6 other Shure wireless mic system. 4 of them are UHF. I never experience any signal drop out on any of my UHF system. I have already returnthis defective mic system to Amazon

Shure es de las mejores marcas de audio profesional. Compre este micrófono para uso personal (tenor “abaritonado”) y no me convenció para nada en efectos prácticos para mi voz, de hecho lo devolví a Amazon, sin embargo lo probé en una voz de mujer soprano y sonaba mucho más claro. Esta cápsula en reseñas describe que es mejor para voces de mujer y definitivamente es verdad. A pesar de eso tengo la misma cápsula beta87 en versión alambrica y uno junto al otro sonaban demasiado diferentes, eso fue lo último que me motivó a devolverlo, pues por un micrófono de ese precio más vale hacer una inversión que valga la pena.

Buen producto, pero se tardó mucho en estar disponible, he presentado problemas es con la interferencia y la distancia para que no se corte la señal, ya lo intente cambiando de canal y de grupo, y ni así se soluciona el problema, tiene que estar a muy poca distancia del receptor. No estoy tan contento con mi compra es una lastima
