Great product, but has quirks in my usage
If you just want bulbs that you can adjust the brightness and colour of, these are perfect. The associated Tapo app is super easy to use and lets you group bulbs together so you can control them simultaneously. It also has a cool “auto match” feature which roughly matches the natural shades of sunrise, daylight and sunset to help your circadian rhythm (basically helps you sleep naturally). An important thing to note is that I am NOT using these with a smart switch - i.e when I flip the switch on the wall the power is cut and they disconnect from the network. If you plan on doing the same, just know that sometimes the bulbs will have the wrong color/warmth for the first few seconds after switching them on because it takes a couple seconds for them to connect to your WiFi. This really is only a second or two and doesn’t happen all the time.I use these bulbs in conjunction with a Google Nest Hub, specifically the “sunrise alarm” feature which will slowly increase the brightness of your lights when your wake-up alarm goes off so you wake up naturally. Somewhere along the line this can go wonky - some of the bulbs will get stuck at different brightnesses rather than all fading in together. I am fairly sure this is Googles fault, as the Tapo app has no such syncing issues, and my WiFi is certainly not an issue.Recommend? Yes - the two issues I mentioned above are not the fault of this product, but I feel they are important to know. I was expecting to have more problems considering how much cheaper these are than brands like Hue, but the bulbs themselves are brilliant.

Aha! Dimmerable bulbs without a dimmer switch!
I got these on a prime deal. I already have Kasa smart plugs so I knew what to expect. I bought these for my kitchen lights. Some minor glitches associated with my Wi-Fi, I just close the app and reload it… seems to clear the problem. Easy to pair, just follow the instructions. I had to download the Tapo app, and was actually surprised that it also supported Kasa products too, which is a bonus as Tapo products are now cheaper and the range is bigger that the Kasa brand. Overall pleased with my purchase and means that I shouldn’t forget to turn off the kitchen light anymore 🤦🏼♀️! The lights are also dimmerable by the app, so I now have them set at 75%. The price was good considering you get 4 which was the number I needed. I recommend to anyone looking at smart bulbs etc and it’s a good starting point in making your home smarter!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT
The bulbs lose connection and reset virtually every time I turn them on, you go through the process to resync them and as soon as you use one of the features like changing colours they start flashing and reset themselves. Gone through the process around 10 times in the last two weeks, basically unusable. The WiFi router is less than 15 feet away so it cannot be a “weak signal” issue as the brand might claim. Utter waste of money. Stay away.

Probably the best smart led on the market - no smart hub required.
Purchased these on a whim, to replace an older ‘remote controlled’ set and oh my, what a difference.Credit to other commenters on beam angle and luminosity, so not going to go over that again in my review, mostly going to look at ‘home integration’.It’s important to note here, that unlike some of the other ‘bigger brands’, these lights work off of your existing WiFi network, and do not require a separate ‘hub’ in order to make them work.Whilst I fully understand some of the comments based around setting them up, especially around ‘grouping’ the lights in the ‘tapo’ app, persevere with them, you won’t be disappointed. As for setting them up with Alexa, she did all that for me, which is always a bit scary, but very clever.I like to think that I’m of above average experience when it comes to technology, and like most men, instructions manuals are for the weak or elderly… but I did struggle with trying to ‘name’ the group of lights and then to get Alexa to recognise them… what I didn’t understand, and this is where it gets really clever, if you have an ‘echo’ in the same room as the lights, you simply refer to the group as ‘lights’ in that room.. putting that into plain English, ‘Alexa, turn on lights’, ‘Alexa set lights to red’… as long as this request is made to the echo in that room, she will understand that you are referring to those light.. did I mention that, that is so clever.Bottom line, excellent product, little hard to setup, fairly easily to understand app and excellent integration with Amazon echo.

Brilliant
These are fantastic lights. An absolute breeze to add to Wi-Fi and Alexa. I like that you can change the light colours via Alexa. I created a routine to change to certain colours. Kids loved the Halloween lights (in pic). For info; lights stay on whatever colour you set it to. Definitely recommended.

Facile a installer

Pairing
The only positive thing is brightness. I bought 4 boxes which is 16 spotlights so to pair them i need to enter each one network. So i succeed to pair two spotlights and then the others aren’t flashing anymore. Which makes me reset and I have no idea which one is paired and which one is not. Then i succeed to pair 8 spotlights, i come the next day to contibue pairing but all the previous ones are offline. This is such a headache. I only recommend them for people who need four spotlights or less.

Theyre good but takes a very long time to connect
You have to connect every single light to the wifi and if you close the switch and turn it back on you have to reconnect every light once again to the wifi
