So easy to fit. The length can be altered. And allows the fresh air in and keeps the flys out.

Lovely string curtains, it does stop flies but you will get the odd one that will get in.

I get a lot of compliments on the brown strings hanging over my door.I bought 2, so I part them in the middle when coming in and out.My cats aren't particularly interested in playing with the strings either.They don't stop all of the flies, but they don't fall down and don't melt away in the heat, I've fixed them up with a pressure rod for net curtains.

Value for money though not completely insect proof if windy. Do not use in homes with toddlers or cats and dogs. A bit fiddly to install due to slippery material. I used velcro to put it up.

It's pretty - but very sparse so it doesn't actually deter flies. The slightest breeze increases the gaps and hey, presto - flies inside! However, because I liked the look of it, I ordered another two in the hopes the denser coverage will deter the flying marauders!I shall report back if this strategy works. Otherwise, I will have spent £20+ on a lovely fringed curtain that makes my kitchen look like an expensive courtesan's boudoir!Update: Adding the two extra curtains helped a great deal in increasing the density and heaviness and reducing the flies. The fringes are still flighty in the breeze so the very occasional fly wanders in but the additional curtains are a great improvement. And the curtains do look pretty and offer privacy. I didn't find the fringes tangle but they do catch - I have a potted topiary just outside the door and when the breeze blows some of the fringes end up in love with the topiary. But to be honest, I do prefer this fringed curtain to a whole load of chainlinks - I think the boudoir look is more attractive than a butcher's shop!

Lovely looking curtain for the price does the job

For exactly the same product with pretty much the same price I got more value for money when purchasing from another retailer on Amazon. With this providers packet you get one net. From the other providers packet for pretty much the same price you get two nets covering twice the width. Each net is no wider than a small eternal door opening. However the product quality is good. Very simple to fit and does look nice. The material used is of substantially good quality and they are very well made and should last...

Got this as the proper wooden beaded ones were hard to find at a decent price and flies were driving us mad. It is ok, but gets tangled really easily, and I'm not convinced it has kept many flies out
