Drake Off Road The Official Car Cane with built in Flash Light - (2 Pack) (As Seen on High Street TV)

I only received the Car Cane a few days ago for use by a disabled member of my family. The family member is very pleased with it and I only wish I had ordered it sooner. It greatly assists with getting out of the car. Of course it does have two other features (seat belt cutter and window breaker) which I cannot comment on as I hope I never have to use them, but I feel they are a bit of insurance if they are ever needed. It is also very handy to have a flash light on certain occasions. To date I can thoroughly recommend it and am telling all my friends about it. I did not use the preference service and I think it only took three days to arrive. To date I am very pleased with it.

Purchased for my 80+ mother and my sister both have praised them and has helped the pair of them in exiting the car

This car handle looks and feels well made and strong (all be it made in china), but beware! check out that it will fit and suit your vehicle, sadly i was unable to use it on my 2002 Volvo S40 as the plastic part (where the led lights are) are too wide and foul the door piller and the open and close door switch. I passed my purchase over to a friend who's car it fitted perfectly. On the whole it is a good alternative product for the price but not for me.

It's another gadget that MIGHT get used - it does make it easier for elderly folk to get into and out of a car, but stowing it in the glove-box means that most passengers would not be aware of it until they had struggled out of the car anyway. But more familiarity will mean it will be used more often in the future. We hope never to have to use the seat-belt cutter or the glass-hammer, but I suppose it will be better looking AT it rather than FOR it.
