Installed this on the incoming water line to hot water tank
I had to use the screws that came with the kit to mount the device on a board and then nail the board to secure it in place. For the price, as compaired to other similar items, it seems to work A-OK. I have had it installed now for 3 weeks and I can tell a difference in my sinks and surface areas of bathroom marble sinks that chalky residue is slowly going away. It is worth it to me.

Does not work
I had really high hopes for this device. I installed it on my main and I have noticed no difference in hard water spotting. Unfortunately I think this is just snake oil.
