A great box set for any tea lover!
I'm an avid tea drinker, and am especially fond of loose leaf/whole leaf tea. So I'm always on the lookout for new brands, new infusers, new anything tea-related.First, the tea:I love the idea of the tea discs. It takes all the thought out of measuring. Also, since iLOLA tea discs aren't the shake you get in a typical teabag, you can actually reinfuse them. That means more bang for your buck, which is always appreciated. This box set includes a nice standard black tea, a popular green tea blend, and some herbal teas. So, you get a nice range that you can sip all day long. And it includes full boxes of tea--not just little samplers of each flavor.Second, the infuser:I love tea accessories that have thought put into them, so I can say I really do love how beautiful the tea infuser is. Regarding functionality, it's got a handle and a kind of longish lip opposite the handle, so it balances easily on the rims of most mugs and teapots. The basket itself fits up to two tea discs.Third, the travel tumbler:This is one of the best travel tumblers I've ever had. It's design means you actually can grasp it without burning your hand. The contents stayed warm even though I left it in my car for several hours, when the outside temperature was in the 30s. Not piping hot, but still comfortably drinkable. There's an infuser basket, so it's specially designed for loose leaf tea. My only real complaint is that it's a little too narrow for my cupholders, so I have to replace the lid in between sips.TL:DR this is a great set if you love tea, or know someone who loves tea. Great tea flavors, great accessories.

Good tea, way too expensive
This is good tea. There's no denying that. I tried out the English breakfast and it had a very nice flavor. It's one of the only teas I've ever tried where the smell doesn't match the flavor. It doesn't have much of a smell, but it has plenty of flavor. English breakfast tea is supposed to be good with milk and sugar, and this certainly is.The packaging is clearly trying to look expensive. It's just cardboard and construction paper, so it isn't expensive, but it certainly looks fancy. The tea infuser is OK. It's not the highest quality infuser I have. It's probably not as nice as one I got for $5 off of Amazon. It's not bad, it's just not exceptional or anything. The tea is not in anything resealable. So, when you take a disc out, you're going to want to put it in something. I have many, many empty tea tins sitting around, so in there it went. Those tea tins lead to my problem with this. The tea that was once in those tins was better tea than what's included here. It's not that this is bad tea, it's just that the tea that once sat in those tins was great tea. I just looked, and that great tea is less than $6 for 20 large bags in a nice tin. In other words, I could buy a lot of great tea and a better infuser for the price of this, which is just good tea with a decent infuser in some fancy looking cardboard. If this were maybe 1/3 the price, I would recommend it. It is good tea. It is just severely overpriced.

Decent quality, looks great as a gift, very pricey
First of all, the packaging is very good and looks expensive. Indeed, it is very expensive. It comes with 4 bags of tea discs, one at-home infuser, and a travel tea bottle. If the tea was so pricey, I would expect a good quality tea container(s) for them, so the person receiving the gift can store the opened bags with tea discs properly. At least those bags could come with a zipper. Once the bag is opened, you will need another bag/box to properly store the bag. Tea disc concept is not so appealing to me. I always have a spoon nearby for my tea. Those discs crumble anyway. I will need to clean up at the end of using the bag. The travel tea bottle is OK not great. But it almost impossible to carry the tea bags with tea discs in them without squeezing them. I will then have to have a hard case for those delicate tea discs for travelling. All the bags have only iLOLA printed on them and nothing else. So once I opened more than one bag, I have to mark them clearly. Otherwise, I have no way to know which bag has what.I drink a lot of tea, Asian and western. I have had some expensive Asian tea, Chinese, Taiwanese, and Japanese. The level of sophistication of those tea was well worth the price. Though the tea here is decent quality, I really would like to know the origin of the tea and why they are so special that they are so expensive. All these tea are blends of different tea. English breakfast black tea says it has Kenyan black tea, Ceylon black tea, and Assam black tea. All the rest doesn't say where the tea was sourced. One thing concerns me is that they all have this "proprietary probiotic blend". What exactly is that? This looks great as a gift to show your appreciation. But I unlikely will buy it for my personal use or buy it for my friends who are tea lovers.

2nd iLOLA Tea Set, perfect for a gift
This is just a great tea set for any purposes'; for yourself or as a gift.I actually had a smaller version of the tea set from the same line of iLOLA, which I really liked it a lot.So I didn't even flinch to get this set when it showed up on my recommended page!I truly think this will make a great Christmas gift (or any other occasion to be honest) as the way it is packaged no to mention the quality of tea.Although, if you are getting the tea set for yourself for the first time, you might want to go with the cheaper version to try them out to see if you really like them ( I am saying this because the team is rather on mild side considering it's loose leaf dis). This version would be a great choice to give as a gift for rather important person from the price point.100000% recommended !
