This kimchi is delicious! I am not a kimchi connoisseur by any means. The few kinds I've had (maybe 7 or 8, including homemade), have had varying degrees of heat and spice. Choi's combo of these is perfect for me! I would put the heat factor at about 2.5 out of 5. My favorite go-to meal in a hurry is kimchi over rice with a hard boiled egg, mmm, tasty! And healthy as well.I would recommend this product, at least try it.

Excellent kimchi. Great balance of salt/heat/umami flavor. The package is very secure and sturdy. I wasn’t able to pick up the package until a day after and it was fine. If you are Korean, you know how much the smell of fermentation can be pervasive. Good job Choi’s! An unexpected treat.

Very good kimchi. Not very spicy despite the label, but good flavour. The two biggest offenders of jarred kimchi is a lack of a real, fermented flavour and/or it's mushy- neither are a problem in this product. Just slightly sour, doesn't taste too young or old, making it good for both cooking and eating raw. Does have a very pronounced garlic flavour but I like that.

This is just delicious! Best kimchi I have had! Texture of the Napa cabbage is lovely. Much more refined than I have had in many restaurants- a great balance of flavor and texture.Arrived in perfect condition. Reasonably priced for the quality. Yummy! You should try it!

It was honestly too sweet and not enough juice in there to make kimchi fried rice with, will be making my own batch from here on out!

I am Korean and I always make Kimchi by myself. Honestly, this is the best kimchi that I've ever bought from the store. I don't know how they make it so tasty. My husband, who is picky and someone I would consider a kimchi expert himself, loved it and my son who is an American loved it too. Now I am switching to Choi's Kimchi because everyone loves it including myself. It is so tasty!!!

My package arrived leaking through the envelope and reeking. Obviously it had exploded inside. I didn't bother opening it. Highly disappointed and sad. I was looking forward to trying this.
