SITKA GearWomen's Unisex Warm Traverse Beanie

I actually really like this beanie - I tend to run hot on a trail and hiking, and I don't like to take a pack off while i'm in the woods. Given that I hunt, I'm in terrain where other hunters may not easily be able to see me through brush. I keep this beanie in my pack hip pouch, so if I'm separated from a partner, or just prefer to be seen I can throw it on while moving and keep myself visible. Most of the other beanies I've tried are thicker knits, while this seems to be a medium thickness synthetic. It has a weirdly long tag inside, but it doesn't matter much as it's soft and stays under the hat.

Do you have giant melon? Lots of hair? Do you know it's time for a haircut when your snap backs run out of size adjustment? Maybe a little bit of a Sitka fanboy? Want a brimless option when in the field? This might be the cap for you!I check all above boxes and struggle to find hats that fit and that are not constrictive. Thrilled with cap. It's thin, light, and packs to nothing. Honestly, that's all a big draw for me. Moving in hunting season, I don't want anything I will start sweating in. And, for when the cold sets in, I can actually put this over a warmer knit or balaclava with better heat retention with out compressing that material.Considering picking up a backup for different packs or incase disappears.

Very lightweight with just enough warmth. Wearable under hard hat or helmet. I wear a 7 3/8 and really appreciate the fit not giving me a headache like others that fit like a swim cap.

It must be durable, but no way it can help in winter, more spring or summer hat

worst beanie ever. too big and didnt fit my head. sent it back in 5 mins. got the merino wool beanie from sitka instead.

Way too big. Doesn’t fit at all. Not impressed.

Too thin material.Not warm.Size is good but not for winter.

i dont have to do this,these things will you know. the one i got was built for the summer. i havent tried it out in the cold yet
