Perfect for what I needed
Needed shorter faux candles and these fit the bill. I like that you have the choice to flicker or not, just like more realistic / expensive aritificial candles provide. I was confused how to pair the remote with the candles but eventually figured it out. After you have all the batteries in the candles and twisted somewhat tight until they light, then you press "off" on the remote to discover that it actually works. Anyway, if you don't need a more realistic effect like for a candle lit dinner, then these are perfect.

These run the batteries down so fast they’re only practical if you have rechargeable batteries.

We use them for torches that the children carry in during our Sunday Mass. the flame is perfect and bright enough to be seen. so much safer than flame candles and they don't blow out!
