Great plates but one was broken when I opened the box. Need better packing. I will try again but not sure it will be any different. You can see it needs more packing material.

The hand painting is sloppy, so don't look to close. Otherwise very pretty.

These could've been so pretty. Unfortunately, this company doesn't seem to care about making a quality product. How can you ship out such an obviously inferior product. It appears very little attempt was made to keep the red paint off of the white mistletoe. There parts of the mistletoe design that are rough and received minimal glazing. Red paint is thin on some plates and white can be seen underneath.I am so disappointed. We may use these as every day plates during the holiday season, but definitely not for guests.At $5/plate they aren't super expensive, but these are more dollar store quality.

I love the idea of these plates for serving cookies, snacks or desserts at Christmas. I like that the plates are octagonal rather than round, and the idea of white mistletoe on red is very pretty. Plus, the red is a pretty, dark cranberry tone rather than a loud, bright, typical Christmas scarlet.However, as other reviewers have noted, the quality isn't quite there. The painting is hit or miss, so that some of the mistletoe is a nice pure white, while other areas are smeared with red. Also, the under-surface of the plates is a bit rough -- be careful not to scratch your table!But if you can tolerate a bit less than perfection, these are rather pretty plates that will add a festive touch to any holiday table (and will brighten up my all-white tableware in just the right way for the holidays.) I do plan to use them, though I may give them away with Christmas cookies on them. They're pretty enough to use -- just don't expect perfection.

These may be one of the lowest quality items I have ever received from Amazon. They are not even worth the box they ship in. Poor glaze and color application with the a terrible rough texture on all surfaces. The plates do not look like the set shown in the stock images. They are thin, light weight and lacking any redeemable quality.

These plates are excellent for the holidays! I love how subtle they are. It’s the perfect touch of Christmas without having a whole Snowman plastered all over your plate. They are ceramic, but I was shocked with how light they are! My other ceramic set is extremely heavy, so this was a pleasant surprise. They manage to be lightweight without feeling fragile. I don’t recall if they are dishwasher safe, but I am going to err on the side of caution and continue to handwash them because I want to use them for many reasons! For awareness, they are relatively flat, but have a slight incline around the plate edges to prevent food from rolling off. The holly branch scents are also raised…the accent is not simply painted on, which I thought was a nice added touch. Can’t edit to enjoy many holiday season meals on these plates!!
