Flossing your teeth is one of those necessary evils that you should do regularly but get put off by the difficulty in doing it properly. That's how it is with me anyway, despite my dentist and hygienist trying to suggest that it should be a daily ritual. I have tried inter dental brushes but even the smallest 0.4mm ones do not fit between most of my tightly packed teeth. Supermarket floss picks can be purchased for around a quarter of the price of these Oral-B ones but this is a false economy as they are prone to breaking easily and are hard to hold properly and manoeuvre in your mouth. Personally, when it comes to buying dental floss on a roll then just forget it as it is impossible to reach certain parts of my mouth doing it that way.Clearly a lot of thought, and plenty of testing I'm sure, has gone into the design of these Oral-B floss picks as they just work. They are around 7cm long from end to end, with the two arms holding the floss having a significant curve to extend the reach of the floss pick. You can squeeze the middle section of the pick to tighten the floss on the end. I find that reaching the gaps between my back teeth, virtually impossible using other methods, is not too difficult using these floss picks. The floss itself is fairly strong and certainly does not break easily (the bag states that it is shred resistant floss), so I tend to give each floss pick a thorough rinse after use to allow it to be used at least once or twice more. The packaging also suggests that the floss slides up to 50% more easily in tight places than its leading competitor. The customer service contacts are American phone numbers so I am guessing these floss picks must be imported from the United States.I am very impressed with these floss picks and find it hard to imagine myself buying any others now.

Having bought these and been very happy with them over several years they suddenly almost doubled their price!!In terms of performance they work just fine and are as good if not better than most on the market however I have now changed to the T Smile 3rd generation flossers, see my other review on them.A real shame but sadly at the new price I wouldn't recommend them

I find these so much easier to use than ordinary floss or tape for my overcrowded teeth with very narrow gaps. They are easy to get right down to the bottom of the cleft and I have had plenty of compliments from the dentist since using these. I don't know what I would do without them.

I've tried flossing a few times before with floss on rolls. Since I have very small gaps between most of my teeth, I find it more or less impossible. Also, with roll floss you have to put your fingers into your mouth, the floss often tears, and the whole process is so unpleasant I just didn't do it.With these floss picks it is extremely easy. The floss almost never tears and the shape of the handle makes it very easy to get it in the tight gaps between my back teeth. Now I floss everyday and it only takes me 2 or 3 minutes.

I tried cheaper floss picks but found them to be not up to scratch. The Glide floss picks are more expensive but certainly worth the money if you value your teeth & gums. They are strong enough and large enough to get a good grip on and allow access between the rear molars which the cheaper brands don't. My teeth are packed closely together so a fair bit of force is needed to get the floss between them. The glides are made strongly enough so I can easily apply the force whereas the cheaper brands just bend and break. Sticking with Glide from now on.

You know how it is. The Dentist tells you that you need to floss, but you find that pesky stuff too fiddly to use... Not any more!! These floss picks have solved all of my flossing problems! The design of the pick makes it easy for me to move the floss around between my teeth. It's now a simple and straightforward procedure. My life has changed. I'm happy, my teeth are happy and my dentist is happy too!

I usually buy these from my dentist for £6.50 a pack. I have never seen them in the shops. They are the best flossets i have ever used the string is thicker and stronger than other brands yet feels more gentle on my gums. I highly recomend them and so does my dentist.

They work better than anything else I've tried. The floss doesn't stretch much like some do. But they are relatively expensive and I couldn't see anything about recycling etc, which is sad, coz there must be so many disposed of each day.
