Great product for imaginative construction play

This is a great set for kids - they can build their own 2d or 3d masterpieces using magnetic shapes. It's suitable for both girls and boys although I would probably lean more towards girls due to the pink castle. In any case, the only slight gripe is that there are only 48 pieces. This sounds like a lot but in actual fact you can't make that much with this amount - I would have given full marks if it had been 100 pieces or more. That being said, it's a toy that children love and stops them asking for electronics. The pieces themselves are well made and seem pretty durable. So all in all I'd say it was a great investment. Would recommend.

There are currently many sets of these magnetic building shapes on the market, and even if the sizes and shapes vary you can combine different brands to make 2 and 3 D models. They are generally colourful, easy to use and store.This box contains 48 for £26 and there is a storage bag plus some ideas for structures to build. There are squares, triangles, door and roof shapes and a small wheeled base which makes it possible to build a castle, a rocket, vehicles etc quite easily. Combine it with your other sets to make exciting structures of your own. The colours in this set are very icy and Frozen looking and they look great with lights behind them.. They are particularly strong as they have magnets on both sides of the flat shapes.NOTE: these shapes have safely contained small magnets but they should not used by children under 3 or those who still put things in their mouths. Also do not use next to computers, phones etc
