If Rock Lee is your favourite character from Naruto, or even if you’re just curious about Team Gai, get this. This is probably obvious but I’ll put it down anyway - it is not a serious supportive series to Naruto. What I mean by that is that while the characters are the same there are major differences played solely for laughs, for instance Lee is constantly forcing Neji into skits where he plays a girl. Orochimaru has a few hilarious episodes where his plans are, usually accidentally, foiled in some way. The art is different, they’re drawn cute with large heads etc, but it works. The voices are mostly the same as far as I can tell in the Japanese version and in the English version at least Naruto and Kakashi are voiced differently. If you’re a voice purist it might annoy you but otherwise it’s a minor notice. I prefer the original Kakashi compared to this one but I bought it for Lee and his voice actor seems to be the same.It’s funny, it’s stupid (in a good way) and it actually made me like Neji more. In the main series he’s so stiff and proper which is funny in itself sometimes, but this show explores how close Team Gai actually are and I finished the set with a higher appreciation for all of them.I enjoyed this so much I just wish they’d release an English version of part 2 instead of just the French ones.

Good dvd, only problem is that there is no information about part 2 being released. In my opinion part 2 is the better half of the series and yet it is listed as currently unavailable.

Works fine with region free DVD player

We would have loved this dvd set. There was no indication of which language or region the dvd work in. When I put in the player, it stated it wouldn't work in this region. I can tell it's a good product. And it arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Just get the region first.

Arrivé a temps ,j'avais très hate de l'écouter...mais il étais écrit nul part que ce coffret n'étais pas pour ma région .... très décevant....
