I got this wire to install an extension to the RGB lights i have installed in my front porch and after trying to install these I gave up. For some reason I could not solder the wires to their mounting clips and I take great pride in my soldering skills as an Electrical Engineer! There has got to be a better set. I give it 3 stars cos they are pretty robust wires and they were easy to install if soldering is not an intended task.

The wire is reasonable quality. Far greater than what comes with most RGB strips. This is not a complicated review.. good coating on the wires and good adhesion between the strands for a clean install.

Be prepared for a time consuming job to link strips together. I suggest if this is first time that you youtube how to do it. You need patience and you need to follow the RGB+ path. An absolute nightmare to link to go around corners. It is not this product but the whole system of LED strips are the same no matter which brand you buy and watch out for extra connector pieces to do this, the RGB+ flow does not work on T pieces. In the end I landed up soldering wires to do the job, the average person probably wont have my experience for this. The app is good once you get it up and running. Adhesion is excellent.
