I loved this insulated cup and the cork bottom. It was nice to not have the clanging of metal mugs in the counter in the morning. And it keeps coffee hot for a long time! I'm a slow coffee drinker and it's so nice to have it stay hot for an hour or more as I get ready for the day. But this was just a little too wide of a mug for me. And the sliding lid was hard to clean. I'm not sure the slider was intended to be removed. Coffee always got under it. Also drinking from it was a little awkward. I returned it and opted for a smaller one, but sadly had to give up the cork bottom that this one had. If they every make a slightly smaller version I'll be first in line. Still highly recommend!

Coffee tastes so much better vs metal

We tried 3 different pairs of dual wall glass mugs over the last year and I guess we are just too clutzy because we ended up breaking them all, just the slightest bump against a hard surface or a dish and ended up with a hairline crack. This is a great substitute and the ceramic lining make them very easy to clean. The cork bottom mandates we hand wash them, but that is not an issue for us. We got the wood grain and pink and the colors are holding up great. They keep our morning drinks warm for about 30 minutes but they are empty well before that, I'm sure filling them with hot water before use would extend that time. They are a little on the expensive side (about twice what we paid for a pair of glass mugs) and can't use in the microwave are the only downsides. We had them for 2 months now and they seem bulletproof up to this point.

Love the cup. Looks great and keeps coffee hot without the metal taste you have with other mugs. It is not spill proof, but that was not advertised.But lid is bad design and material. I only hand washed a few times but coffee gets between the lock and lid and is hard to clean. Taking the lid apart is not convenient and requires to pinch the plastic together to remove slider.My lid already cracked. Since I did not drop it or used dishwasher, I must assume it cracked from rapid temperature change when pouring in hot coffee.Update: +1 starcustomer support sent replacement lid same day I contact them. Won’t improve lid design or material choice, but a nice gesture anyways.

These mugs are very nice and well insulated. The only complaint is the lid is very, very cheap. We ordered some of the smaller, steel-bottomed mugs and they have really nice lids, so I'm not sure why they decided to use the lowest possible quality lids on these. On the up side, there are no issues with durability over ~2 months of daily use, and the cork bottom is awesome for both avoiding sliding around and preventing water rings on tabletops.Update from 9 months after purchase: We're definitely seeing some issues with manufacturing start to become apparent. Despite the hand wash only requirement, the cork bottom fell off one mug and the outer layer is starting to delaminate and peel. I'm downgrading the rating to 3 stars as they seem decent but are not likely to make it for even a year of consistent use.

The large gap between the cork and metal body difficult makes it very difficult to dry. The metal rim and the colored coating create a sharp edge and scratch the bottom lip. It's extremely light so not able to hold temperature. But I recommend using it when your enemy shows up at your door and you have no way of turning them away. Works best in extremely cold weather to serve the perfect look warm beverage. Hence, the one star.

Received this cup a couple of weeks ago. Immediately upon opening, smelled it before I saw it so I put it in an unused room for now, hoping it will air out. There was an overwhelming chemical, unrefined petroleum stench (sorry) coming from the cork. The cup is good looking, but I can't bear to have that smell mingle with my coffee. I bought this ceramic lined cup because I don't like the metallic taste from putting my coffee into a thermos. Hopefully I will be able to use it soon or I will return it.

I have 4 of these mugs, and one more on the way :) and they are seriously outstanding mugs two things set them apart from steel or metal mugs#1. the porcelain. lining if you’re one of those people Who wants a cuppa coffee to stay hot and taste like coffee for an extended period of time this is the mug-cup. Seriously coffee drinkers know, that coffee starts tasting Strange after it’s been sitting in metal even 10 minutes.#2. The modular design: Is of the 21st century, a combination of the cup cover & color & simplistic handle & organic looking cork, integrated into the bottom.#4 suggestion. 1. make the cork bottom just the tad shorter. 2. make the handle attached to the very top of the rim-bam. Then this cup would be more-modular and mobile to carry in a coat pocket:) and look more futuristic.

My coffee mug arrived yesterday. I tried it this morning just with my bunny ears silicone cup lip, it still kept my coffee really hot for up to 30mins to an hour.I love it a lot.I will give an update only if the ceramic coating will chip off after few months usage.

Great cup, kept my tea very hot for ages and no taste issues

Great cup keeps my coffee warm for hours. It says they are dishwasher safe but not good with the cork. I am hand washing. Also not tin taste, my coffee or hot chocolate tastes great! So worth it I bought two more. Don’t you plate warmers anymore.

Liked the look of this mug and the ceramic coating inside stops that metal taste

J'ai achetée cette tasse parce que mon bureau de travail est près de la fenêtre et durant l'hiver, mon café devient froid en 10 minutes. Malheureusement la cette tasse n'y fait rien, mon café ne reste pas chaud, pire encore, le contour en métal de la tasse devient froid (plus qu'une tasse en porcelaine) alors quand je pose mes lèvres dessus, ce n'est pas très agréable! Sinon pour le reste la tasse est jolie et solide (sauf pour le couvercle, lui il est déjà fendu...) Bref, pour le prix, si vous but est d'avoir une tasse qui garde le liquide chaud, passez votre tour.
