Very cool colors. Changes at different angles. Unique and cool effect.
I got this filament based on a post in a 3D printer forum. I have never used FlashForge filament before but I know of the brand. (mostly as a printer company that also makes filament)The Flash Forge Burnt Titanium color has a bit of a following on the forum I was reading though. I had to try it out. It printed fairly easily but I ended up lowing my bed temp from 60 to 55 to get better results. My prints were sticking originally but then coming loose occasionally. (enclosed printer which was probably getting too hot inside)I printed with a nozzle temp of 230 which could be too high. (220 might have been better at high speed) I wanted the most shine out of the filament and higher temps generally give you more shine. My next print will be at a lower nozzle temp. If it looks the same visually, I will print at a lower temp from now on.The models I printed look great. Everyone I have shown them to likes the colors. You can see black, green and a shade of blue depending on lighting conditions and the angle you look at it. (a combination of both) I attempted to photograph a model and I could get it to show multiple colors but it does not look as cool in the picture as it does in person. For some reason, the photos show the model in a single color for the most part. If there isn't enough light, it sort of looks like light black. Tough stuff to photograph. This is not a tri color filament in the normal sense. It is like a mostly black, glitter like filament with the three colors showing at different angles. (at least that is what I think it is) I do not claim to know exactly how it does this.I like trying new types of filament especially filaments that give a print a unique look. This definitely checks all of the boxes. I will likely be ordering more of this at some point. Other than vases, reptiles and dragons, I am not sure what else I will print with this. It isn't for every model but when it works, it really works.

I forgot how good it was...
About six or eight years ago, I began my foray into 3D printing with a new Flashforge Finder 3D printer. To keep the printer running clean, I stuck with Flashforge's filament for a short time, until curiosity of other brands and irritation at Flashforge's higher prices made me try other brands. I never bought another spool of Flashforge's filament and never really looked back.During summer Prime Day this year (2022), this filament went on sale. Flashforge had sent me a promotional email about this filament and two other new filaments, but I'd largely disregarded it. My curiosity, compounded by a friend's urging to buy a spool to try it (I was printing various parts for said friend's hobby at the time), made me buy a few spools of this.I've used most of one up, and I am impressed! Over the years, I've stuck with 3D Solutech as my brand of choice but have had good experience with others such as eSun, YOYI, and Hatchbox to name a few.I've got four 3D printers: A Flashforge Creator Pro, a JGAurora A5S, an Artillery Sidewinder X1, and a BIBO that's on its last legs. I've run this filament on the A5S, the Creator Pro, and the Sidewinder X1. The A5S has a 0.8 mm nozzle and the X1 has a 1.0 mm nozzle. The A5S has seen the most runtime of my current farm of printers so as expected, this filament ran fine. The filament also ran fine on the Creator Pro. Lately, I've been trying to print larger objects on the X1 at 0.100 mm layer heights. This requires frequent slicer profile tuning from spool to spool of filament. And that is where this filament thoroughly impressed me! I have not had to toy with slicer settings at all, and every single print I've ran with this filament on the X1 has turned out beautifully! The sparkly appearance of the filament further reduces the appearance of layer lines, too!I've been airbrushing a lot of my prints lately, but I am not going to paint any of the prints I've made with this filament; It just looks too good to cover up! But I digress.Normally, I try to specify certain settings in my reviews such as nozzle temp, print speed, etc. but that's the beauty of this filament, and the main nuance I'm highlighting in my story above:I have never had to dial this filament in!Just use general PLA settings in your slicer, and I bet you'll get excellent prints like I've been getting! And that's what brings me back to my review title: Back when I only bought Flashforge's filament, I never had issues, and I only ever used preset slicer settings. So, I guess this filament falls into the old saying "You get what you pay for."Yeah, it'll cost more, but this filament is pointedly more stable than any other brand I've used thus far, and that includes my main go-to brand! While I don't intend on only getting Flashforge's filament from here on out, I'll definitely be getting more of this filament for prints that will be tricky to pull off!

Decent filament, long stretches of color and honestly a little dull
Image is of a temperature tower I printed with this filament. You can see that the entire tower is printed in the blue. It isn't vibrant. Where it meets the red/orange color, it's actually - in my opinion - a muddy/ugly brown. I used this filament to print two vases with organic tree supports and used most of the spool. The filament itself feels sturdy and I had no problems with stringing or breaking. Adhesion on my PEI printer bed was fine. There were some issues with white spots but use of a torch can help bring color back to those spots. The appearance is more of a semi-gloss than a gloss/metallic or a matte filament.

Good stuff
I print more structural things so a filament that is strong, UV resistant, and durable is important. So I mostly print with ASA. But ASA isn't always easy to use especially with larger items. I've only printed a few items but have been pleasantly surprised at how easy this filament is to print. It prints as easy as PLA with dimensional consistency and really no warping. For good or bad, it does seem to have a slightly lower melting point. I did my first prints using the same settings as used with other brands of ASA, 260 nozzle and 100 bed. I think that's a bit high and will try lowering the nozzle. I bought the black ASA and it is pretty shiny. Although I prefer a mat finish, the surface quality is really nice with no fragments or defects.

Used to print new parts for Prusa Printer upgrades
This review is for the Black ASA filament. The filament prints fantastically with the Prusa i3Mk3s+. Bridging was absolutely fantastic, and the rare occasions that I did use supports, they came away easily. Bed adhesion was perfect with the Satin sheet, and with the textured powder coated (used hair spray as a release agent with the powder coated) Default Prusa ASA profile and a chamber were used to print. I will buy this again for any print that requires ASA. It cannot be overstated that this filament should only be used with good air filtration or in an exceedingly well ventilated area. You do not want to breathe what it off-gasses during printing.

Very slow color change
The color change is very slow, so most of the prints have only just one color. On top of that the colours are very dull, not too brilliant, so overall the prints turn out boring. The plastic itself is good and it results in a very good print quality, but you will never get the bright light greenish blue that appears in the product photo.

Excelente filamento

Not recommended for Adventurer 3
It worked great for a couple of prints but now every time I try to use it, it clogs up the nozzle and fail the print, it just prints out nothing which causes the stepping motors to click over and over again. This requires me to remove the galaxy filament, use the unclogging tool, put in a piece of new filament and then lower the heat to 80 degrees so I can "cold pull" it back out with all the clogged gunk on it.I Also have FF branded transparent as well as a 3rd party silk-gold PLA and both work perfectly fine compared to this one, would not recommend with the Adventurer 3.

Very brittle
I had multiple breaks using this filament. A couple during prints and one when the printer was off, with no load on the filament.
