The Nuroum V21-AF 2K autofocus webcam is an excellent piece of kit, thanks largely to its Sony CMOS sensor - that's the workhorse of the webcam, where the images are created.I've used higher-resolution webcams (4K@60Hz) that delivered less-sharp images than this Nuroum one does. This is partly down to the sensor inside each cam. Lens quality is also a hugely important factor, as is the motion-tracking technology used by each camera. The Nuroum V21-AF, despite not boasting the highest video resolution available, delivers the goods in terms of performance. I'd choose it over most 4K or even 8K webcams. The V21-AF keeps the subject in sharp focus and does so without blips, flicker or stutter. The HDR technology works well too, helping to display the subject in the best light (physically, not morally).The built-in microphones are sensitive and perform well. The manufacturer claims that the mics are "noise cancelling" but (like all such claims from microphone manufacturers) this is nonsense that only gullible folk swallow. Microphones are designed to detect sound. The more sensitive the mic (in other words, the higher its quality), the greater the range of sound it picks up. That's why in recording studios you see professional musicians singing into mics that have big pop filters in front of them (usually circular discs) - those filters block out the pluvial "pops" that the ultra-sensitive mic would otherwise detect. I digress, though. Back to the webcam. The mics are excellent but don't expect them to block out sound from a noisy room or office, so that your voice is the only sound that comes through. No webcam will do that. Don't be fooled by claims to the contrary.Everything that the V21-AF does, it does well. One thing that would have been useful is a built-in LED light. Some circular webcams (many of them cheaper than this one) have a built-in LED ring light around the camera lens - a good design feature, as it means the light is always pointing in precisely the right direction, i.e. in exactly the same direction as the camera. I'm not going to dock stars from my rating because of the lack of a light, though, especially as this cam comes with 5X optical zoom and a remote control, two features that most webcams don't have.The current price of £89.99 is fair for what you get. An excellent piece of kit.

The media could not be loaded.  Even these days it is difficult to get webcam which has more than 1080p resolution. Cam from Nuroum offers 2k resolution with autofocus, zoom in/out option, auto framing, picture rotating functions as well great noise canceling microphones. First time i see actually webcam being supplied with remote control.Picture quality is stunning, very clear image with 60hz refreshing in video at 2K resolution. Size of this camera is actually huge, so make sure you can accomodate this on top of your monitor without interupting your workplace. Alternatively you can install it on tripod. In my case it is great solution for making timelapse on my 3D printer. I can frame object perfectly. I used this with messenger as well skype too to check quality of microphones and have to admit this is amazing. Quality is there. Only issue i have with this camera which is very annoying, i keep loosing focus constantly despite having autofocus enable and fitted in this camera. I wish there would be button for manual focus on remote control, it would fix the problem for time being while we are waiting for software update. Great to have physical cover when camera is not in use, privacy first.Price point might be too high for many people to swallow considering this hardware and software at £100. it is a lot unless you have purpose for it and demand for great quality image.

The auto framing and focussing for this camera was another very interesting feature to me - it uses the higher resolution sensor to capture the full wide scene and then crops into the area where it detects my face and aims to keep this centered with a slow panning motion - because its cropping from a higher-than-normal resolution image the quality is still good, which was one of my initial concerns. A nice twist on webcam tech for me.

The media could not be loaded.  As with many laptops, the internal camera is pretty basic and not up to much when making viseos or doing conferencing. I am very happy to say that this (not so little) camera does a great job and is much better than the built in camera on my Dell notebook.The conference camera comes in a plain brown box, well protected inside with soft closed foam padding. I am also really impressed to see that a decent remote control has been included, although considering this is intended for group conferencing, it's a really 'must have' addition to give complete control over the meeting.Setting the camera up is really straight forward. There is even an option to convert the USB-C to an ordinary USB-a plug for accessing your computer or notebook. I also found that installing the camera was a straight forward as plugging it in, and the camera was ready to go without any download drivers etc.Picture quality is very, very good. A huge upgrade from my built in camera. In addition I was impressed with the sound quality, it's simply so much better than the muffled sound of the laptop. This is due to the built in 4 microphones, noise cancellation and separation from the computer body, that so often picks up fan noise.We tried it with three people in the room on a zoom call and had excellent feedback from the external party. They reported good clear images, solid colour redition and high quality sound. We also noted it works well when zooming in an focussing on a whiteboard or presentation material.This camera costs more than others, but it offers more features. A good remote control, smoothe operation, and the ability to mount on a 1/4 inch 6mm stand if you don't want to stick it above your monitor. An excellent choice for office or group meetings, or just to look more professional if you do your own videos or streaming.
