This is the One
I've been using this K&M guitar hanger for about 14 years now and all of them have worked perfectly and left no marks on the neck. Easy to put up - just make sure you are screwing into a stud in a plasterboard wall or put in plugs deep enough in a plaster and block wall. I have heard of wall hangers coming out from my own students - it was always their fault and always down to poor installation - you've been warned. Don't hang you £2000 Les Paul on any wall hanger if you are in doubt about your DIY skills. This one is the best I've ever found - simple, clean looking, lasts for decades ( well still Ok after 14 years constant usee for me). And if you do get any wear on the pins, putting guitars on and off regularly, you can flip them overr and use the other way up. Great for increasing your practice time as the guitar is always handy and not in the case. Every practicing / pro guitarist or bass player should have some of these on the wall. Get a loose leaf blank book to make your practice schedule and a kitchen timer like this one and you are set for effective practice. Salter Mini Electronic Timer

Your instruments are safe - Professional looking wall hanger!
This product is fantastic quality for the price and also looks professional. This product is also versatile, I have personally hung electric guitars, acoustic guitars, bass guitars and a ukulele with this wall hanger and have experienced no problems. The material used is very sturdy, and will hold your instruments in place and you don’t have to be worried about them falling (if you have screwed them in the wall correctly that is). Moreover, I have seen no scratching on any of my instruments from using this product for a long time either.I would highly recommend this product to hang up all kinds of stringed instruments, it will put your mind at ease knowing your instruments are safe!

Brilliant, as always
The third one I've bought, to hold a precision electric bass, an electric guitar, and an electro-acoustic one. Rock solid (wall permitting, of course). Note that wall fixtures, screws etc. are not provided. The arms are covered in soft rubber and are kept open by springs, until you place some weight on them.Depending on its body depth, the guitar will hang at quite a distance from the wall (hand-width). According to some reviews I read, this has bothered a few people. I'm actually happy they won't hit the wall easily like this.I recommend hanging the guitar out of harm's way so that nobody runs into it by accident. The hanger is great, but I doubt it can prevent anybody from knocking a guitar off with brute force, and obviously the guitar can still swing freely and hit the wall.

Does the job well with minor caveat
Easy to put up and seems well made and does the job well. Unless I'm missing the obvious though, the fact that the arms move to accommodate different sized necks means that the pins don't stay in place when you remove the guitar. This means that I always have to use two hands to put the guitar back. One holding the guitar and the other moving the pins wide enough to place the neck in. Ideally I'd like to be able to place and remove it one handed as it's a bit of stretch for a short person.

Excellent wall mount
I've been looking for a good quality guitar hanger for a while. In the past I've bought some of the cheaper variety, which were all ok, except they usually let the guitar hang too far from the wall, as many reviewers have noted. This however is a much more professional, well made, high quality item, but at a reasonable cost. Sure you can get cheaper ones, but like I say, it's not always obvious how far they will hang the guitar from the wall and whether they will easily self-adjust as this one does for asymmetric neck guitars likes strats & teles.I can't understand why people moan about there being no screws, like that's a big deal. Most fixings supplied with wall type mounting hardware are hopeless anyway and best avoided.Would highly recommend these to anyone, I shall certainly use one again when my guitar collection increases, as it inevitably will!

Very good quality
Brilliant for display. I went for the white version to be a bit less obvious in a smaller room.It is a shame that screws & plugs are missing but as you need pretty strong stuff, and bits that usually come with a product aren’t very robust; I was happy to get my own. I got these from Amazon:No.10 x 2.8 (5mm x 70mm) Pozi PanFischer - Duopower 6 x 50I’m very happy with the brackets, although when first hanging I must admit I did have a bit of a squeaky bum moment!

Excellent little guitar mount
I have tried a number of different guitar mounts, including other K&M models and Hercules mounts, and this one is excellent, though a little different from the others. The base is narrow, which is what I was looking for, but what I didn't expect is that the two prongs that make up the "hook" are not sprung, unlike in the larger K&M mounts. For my particular need (for a ukelele), this is not a problem, but I'd probably choose a different model for a base electric guitar. You wouldn't want it slipping through just because you weren't paying attention...I particularly like the material the prongs are covered with. It has a silicon-like quality, with some give and a non-slip surface. Greater guitar experts than myself, though, have said they wouldn't hang expensive, lacquer-finished guitars on anything other than a very soft sponge (such as that on the Hercules mounts). Decide for yourself.

Well wroth it.
The cork and light wood make it very pleasing (like art) to the eye. Nicely shows off the guitar. Well engineered. The cork is a tad bid sticky on the head stock. Am putting some circular leather around the rungs to play safe and check the cork again later. I don't want screws and molly bolts to accompany this item. The item would only cost more. As a part time carpenter most molly bolts are poorly made. Most are not engineered well. There is only one molly bolt that makes sense and I used them here. Would definitely buy again.

Well worth the money!
I currently have 11 high value guitars hanging on these and have never had any issue. Just make sure to use the proper wall anchoring method for whatever type of wall construction.

just a great piece of engineering. Fits anything from a uke to a spanish guitar.
