Sistema 1220ZS KLIP IT Bakery Storage Container, 685 ml - Clear with White Clips

I originally spent £35 on the UPKOCH 10 KG container which was a mistake. That was made of cheap, brittle plastic, poorly packaged by the chinese manufacturer, fulfilled by Amazon but did not make the journey to me without significant damage. Although this Sistema is smaller, it does hold a full 1.5Kg bag of flour comfortably with room to spare AND you get a measuring cup that has the American "Cups" and the European ml's quantity markers.It is made out of really tough, clear polypropylene and the lid is so secure you can turn it upside down and shake it while it is full of flour. It is perfect for baking. The lid comes off completely with two clips that hold it tight but are easy to clip and unclip. You then have the entire top cavity to scoop out the flour with the provided cup. Nice and easy without getting flour everywhere.The handle is moulded into the shape itself and it is easy to pick up with one hand. It doesn't place too much strain on arthritic thumbs! The plastic is non-slip and I can pick up a container with 1.5Kg of flour with one WET hand and do it easily. I can even shake it with wet hands and it still grips. Getting them down from higher shelves will be super easy.This is the 3.25l version but they also do a 2.4l which I think has the same footprint but this 3.25l version is just taller by a few cm. The shorter one would probaly be OK for 1Kg bags of flour instead of 1.5Kg that easily fits in the larger version. Apart from flour, these containers would be ideal for rice, cereals or just about any other bulk, loose ingredient.This is a great product that doesn't take up too much counter space. Unless you are baking all day, every day you probably don't need anything bigger. For small kitchens like mine, this is the ideal size. I'm going to buy another, for wholemeal flour. I think they're underpriced. Get one while you can!

Brilliant Amazon Prime 'next day delivery'. ( Sistema 2.4 litre storage container with simple strong clip-on cover. ) Just got our third one ! An essential container in our kitchen for storage of flour ! Given a quick wash and good drying, and good to go to store a standard UK 1.5 Kg ( 3.3 lbs ) bag of flour in ! We now have one for all-purpose flour, one for strong white flour, and one for...( you get the idea ! ) BPA and Phthalate chemical free ! It's sort of a storage container that's not exactly necessary if you don't fancy it, but for us, it's great for secure storage for flour, ( 'wheat weevils' won't be getting into the flour through this container ! Ha ha ha !...)...and it's one of those things in the kitchen we don't really think about, but if it were gone - we'd miss it ! Comes with a very handy measuring cup with measurement marks on the side of the cup, which sits inside the container when it's filled with flour easily ! ( Just dig the cup into the flour and clip the lid on ! Simple !! ) The container is also well thought out in shape, with one slightly slimmer 'stepped-side', which makes grabbing out of the larder with one hand easy ! The 'long clip lid' is brilliantly thought out and doesn't require an 'A Level' to clip on, and clip off !! ( Almost forgot - made in New Zealand - let's help the Kiwi economy ! BUY LOTS OF THESE !! I liked the free measuring cup! Hadn't noticed that when I ordered. It's a nice big container and we'll made. My only gripe is that it barely holds 1.5kg of flour. I would say to anyone else buying it - buy 1kg of flour!!!
