ENCASEDClipMate Belt Holster, Designed for iPhone X/XS (5.8") Secure Case-Free Design (No case Included)

Super easy to put my phone in and take out... hinged top "clip" works perfect, and doesn't clip it too hard. I've had clip cases in past that clipped top of phone so hard that it damaged my screen protector glass. In my pictures you can see that the belt clip can swivel and open and lock in different stages for propping up your phone to watch/read... In all the product pictures from seller there is no seeing if you can have your screen facing out, as I prefer when working out so I can see notifications, text etc. while it is in clip case. Access to all buttons perfect too, no matter which way phone is in holder. Felt backing protects phone too. Going to see if my phone will still fit with "skin" case when I get it and will update my review. This holster seems very durable too.Update: my phone DOES fit with skin-case on it, just barely. Even running on treadmill my phone stayed securely in clip-case. Yay!

UPDATE (2019-02-19): The spring-loaded clip broke after 12 months of normal use*. (I still like this product and purchased a replacement. Luckily, I was standing on a carpet when my iPhone X fell to the floor.) Right now, I'd say to treat this belt clip as a consumable. Replace it after 10 months before it breaks. *ScreenTime says that I pick up my phone about four times per hour. About half of those are probably from the belt clip.UPDATE (2020-08-25): The spring-loaded clip broke again after 18 months of normal use, exactly as depicted in the attached photo from the previous update. Once again, this is a consumable that needs to be replaced. I still recommend it: I'm gonna get a new one each year and retire the old one before it breaks.The iPhones are attractive sculpture. If you trust yourself not to drop your phone, then you don't need a case for it and this belt clip is for you. Once the iPhone X is fastened, it stays in place. It's on your belt, so it's right there when you need it. (I used a similar belt clip from another maker for over four years with an iPhone 4S. I found this to be the most convenient solution for carrying a phone.) This Encased product also has a little metal part that turns the clip into a stand. This product is new to me, so I'm still learning how to grab and release the phone without pushing the buttons on the phone's sides. This is more of an issue with the placement of the iPhone X's buttons than with the belt clip. Only drawback: it's difficult to get leverage to open the spring-loaded clip when sliding it on to my belt. The spring is strong (good), but there's no convenient place to put your finger and opposable thumb to open the jaws of the clip to slip it on to your belt (bad).

I really wanted one that I could use my current phone cover. So I had to remove in in order to use the holster.My previous holster the mechanism That holds the phone in the holster broke off so had to order a new one.I would suggest, so that it’s perfectly clear the distinction between holsters that will just hold the phone and those that hold the phone with a phone cover.

I have been using this clip for about a year now. It keeps my iPhone secure and safe on my side. It makes grabbing my phone very handy and quick. The clip is serving my needs well.

Simplicity at its best. Simply click my new iPhone X right onto it. Belt clip does rotate for lefties or righties or even the ambidextrous. I've always used leather cases to protect the phone in the past but saw this online and I'm glad I bought it. It arrived very quickly and fit my new X perfectly. Slim & sleek. I love it.

Edit to my last review. After using for less than two weeks this thing broke! Tried getting ahold of the seller but I got nothing back. Waste of $. Would have been nice to get my money back! Hint Hint!

Works well with phone, durable. I’ve had this case before. Top clip broke so I ordered another one. My mistake, I ordered the wrong case, won’t hold with the outer case I have on the phone. Had to remove to fit. Works fine without my back case.

It works great, it's one of the only really durable belt clip type removables, one thing they need to include a is a hole so you can leave it attached to the clip when using the camera. I drilled one .... but really it's kind of a no brainer, it should be done by the manufacturer.

Very good product and well made. I wish they did one which would include the AppleiPhone X protective case

I've bought numerous iPhone belt clips in the past from elsewhere. They always tend to break in about a year. This belt clip looks to be a bit beefier in the high stress areas so I expect a longer life out of it. Good Job. Very Happy with it.

High quality build, fair price - would buy again and recommend to others
