Works great. It cleans the side of the bowl and mixes the ingredients togethers together better.

This XL-MAX Metal Beater Blade saves tons of time. I didn't have to scrape the sides of the bowl at all when using. What a great time saver. I will definitely buy these for my girls! Great invention and much better than the Kitchen Aid equivalent!

I have used a Kitchen Aid K5-A, with a SS, 8-inch ID, bowl for over 50 years, and this is by far the best paddle I have ever had, and, thanks to its metal construction, perhaps the last. All others were inadequate, or, as did my long standby gray plastic paddle with rubber edges, shattered in a stiff oatmeal cookie dough.

After our last beater blade broke we kept ordering replacements that weren't fitting our 6QT. Finally figured out the kitchen aid 6000 uses a tulip bowl which needs the 5qt paddle. This fit perfectly and works even better than our previous version (and in a great color).

Especially for those like me who have an older Kitchen Aid that lacks the "adjustment screw" for nudging bowl height to achieve closer contact with the beater(s). Yes, the scraping edge IS pretty rigid, and it's important to start slow when using it, but WHAT a difference it makes in NOT having to stop the machine, lower the bowl, carefully futz around scraping all sides & bottom of the bowl, scrape the scraper clean, raise the bowl, re-start the mixer, then do it all over again another time or two, depending on the recipe. Be sure to read and follow the directions that come with the blade to ensure an easy start. Frequent bakers will quickly learn the drill; as a less-frequent heavy-duty baker, I plan to save the instructions for future reference as needed.

Our previous beater with the scraper edge was a hard plastic and broke in just a couple years. It's getting harder to find replacement parts for my KitchenAid so was super happy to find this one. Works great

The beater blade works well and seems as if it will last for a long time. The only downside is that it is rather noisy to use but overall we're pleased with it.

The beater is plastic so you have to be careful with what you are mixing. Love it other than that, just wish it was metal.

I saw this blade on YouTube's Glen and Friends cooking channel. I went out immediately and bought based on his recommendation. Wow! Fantastic. Love it!I use my kitchen air much more now and it made Christmas cookies a breeze to make and clean up.My kitchen aid now sits on the counter instead of onlying coming out of the basement (pantry) once a year.

Great Quality strong in construction follow the instructions don't use on a dry Bowl

I originally bought a plastic version of this to replace the all metal one that came with my mixer. I loved it. Having the rubber edges was a big improvement as it actually touches/scrapes the edges of the bowl whereas the original didn’t. Sadly, after a couple of years the plastic one broke. I would have been happy to just replace it but then I saw this one. All metal with the rubber scraper feature! So far it’s amazing. I’m so glad I found this version.

Reliable and sturdy for my attempts at baking, The study metal frame gives me the peace of mind that it won't break from heavy load from my Kitchenaid 6+ pro. The rubber tip scrapes the sides of my bowl so i won't have to use a spatula instead. All the contents in the bowl is now mixed relatively thoroughly and saves me time.

I would highly recommend this beater blade/paddle. It is very durable and sturdy and so much better than the plastic one we had previously.
