Good mixing space - but it is not useful if you’re planning to go out and about!

It does the job fine. Looks sturdy enough. It is larger than I expected, but as a result it has plenty of space for mixing paint. I find it really nice to use at home, but would probably go for the medium size for field trips to keep my bag light and small. I don't paint too wet, but if your pallette is usually dripping with water, I doubt this would keep the water in, but it's absolutely fine for average use.If you'd like a large mixing scpace, I would recommend this palette.

Better than other folding palettes but still isn't perfect for storing watercolour. Lets some air in and dries out paint.

I admit to being a great fan of Mijello palettes. They are well designed and have no sharp edges that damage costly brushes. This one is much bigger than the 18 well Fusion with a lot more mixing space,so I find it more suitable for studio use than in the field. It also lacks the Fusion's silicone seal, so is more suited to paints that rewet easily from dry and will probably be unsuitable for carrying runny paints about . I am really happy with it for studio use with my Lukas 1862 watercolour paints and really enjoy the benefits of the extra mixing space it gives. .
