New Mijello Bulletproof Glass Palette for Watercolor 36 Colors

Great studio palette with nice big wells for tube paints and large mixing areas. I rubbed it all down inside with a magic eraser before filling with paint, and paints mix easily without beading up.I nearly bought their studio palette which is even bigger - and twice the price, so glad I chose this one as it’s plenty big enough 😁

I am a professional watercolour artist, and so a good palette is what I look for. I will say two things about this palette, It is in no way bulletproof, and it is not glass. That said, it is one of the best palettes I have had in my studio, in fact so good that I now have 3 of these. They are easy to clean, but don't start using abrasive cloths to make the surface hold the paint, doing this will make it easy to stain, and you want to avoid this at all costs. Daly use will break tin and make your paint stay where you put it. They are big and so plenty of room is needed.I don't do many reviews until I buy something that I think needs one, and this is one of those times. Buy one you will not be disappointed.

it's the biggest palette I have and I love it!! So much space for mixing and the material looks so aesthetic compared to normal plastic palettesI'm using it with my mijello pure pigment set and a couple Holbein colours - the wells are deep and slightly angled so it's perfect for drawing colour out

Love the size and construction of this palette. The wells are roomy enough to get in with bigger brushes. I have the Mission Gold pure pigment paints in there. Size is a little big for taking out but tucks away nicely if you don’t have a dedicated studio table.

Even though described as Glass - I feel there is something wrong in translation as they do refer to it as a Class product - it would of course be way too heavy. The mixing area works far better than plastic palettes and the wells are deep and hold a lot of paint, plus the angle makes it easy to drag the colour out. It is a good size, room for lots of colour which stays protected when it is closed. Works very well for me.

Die Palette hat wie beschrieben insgesamt 36 Fächer um Tubenfarben einzufüllen. Gewohnt gute Mijello-Verarbeitungsqualität ohne scharfe Kanten, an denen die Pinsel Schaden nehmen könnten. Die einzelnen Fächer sind so groß, dass viel Farbe hineingeht (wenn man möchte) und so dass man auch mit ziemlich großen Pinseln gut Farbe entnehmen kann. Das ist viel besser als bei klassischen Aquarellkästen mit den rechteckigen Näpfchen.Die Palette ist allerdings aufgeklappt ziemlich groß. Und ein systembedingter Nachteil ist, dass man die Farben nicht leicht auswechseln kann. Man sollte sich also vorher gut überlegen, welche Farben man – einzeln oder kombiniert – in welches Fach gibt.

Après avoir utilisé diverses palettes en plastique, je suis satisfaite que les couleurs ne déteignent pas. Un coup de chiffon et de l'eau suffit généralement et s'il reste une trace, un peu de produit (Cif par ex.et tout est clean). Et cette palette est suffisante pour bien agencer mes couleurs. Parfait donc...
