Clarke Rubber Jawed Quick Release Drill Press Vice 100 mm Black/Red

soft Jaws useful for what for my model making.
Like the quick release mechanism that lets you clos /open the jaws quickly. Can use with or without the clamp-I have not used the auxiliary clamp yet. Overall I am pleased with the vise and for the money would recommend it.

Very well made, easy to use & worth the spend
Very well made, and versatile as I'm using it on a bench rather than on a drill. Used it already and is well worth the money spent. With the rubber grips, it holds items and they don't move and like the fast release button.

Solid and Heavy!
A great bit of kit! I don’t do much drilling that requires a vice, but when I do I have total faith in this one. It’s very heavy and very solid even before you clamp her down, with the clamp I have total faith in it. I don’t have room to keep it out all the time and that is why I went for this style and I’m really pleased I did. I would definitely recommend it without any worries at all.

Good for what it is
Product seems fine, but it did not fit my press drill as the slots are 125mm instead of 100mm.

A handy vice
Needed a vice which was lightweight and easily moveable. This has done the job, however, it is not as sturdy as it could be.

Word of caution folks
Seems to be well made and I`m sure it will come in very handy. Word of caution, it does not fit the Clarke CDP102B bench drill. As the CDP5RB is advertised for sale with this vice I am changing the drill. Why not change the vice you ask? .Well the drill came with two parts missing so if I change the drill I should be guaranteed a fit.

Doesn't fit CDP5RB bought at the same time
I bought this with a Clarke CDP5RB (as supposedly other customers had done). However this has fitting slots centred at 125mm whilst the Press drill table slots are centred at 110mm. How do others cope with this? Alternatively which vice should I buy?

Cheep and cheerful.
At the price it's not a bad item
