Pretty good but could be a little stronger in taste. So it’s best for beginners. Makes me feel awake but like I’m in a dream. It’s smooth, pretty umami and slightly astringent vegetal aftertaste. Not too bitter either I use 3-4g of this in a latte but I’m going to try it in usucha

Always a staple, great strong flavour of matcha. Good quality, perfect for baking & I also use this to make a cup of matcha latte. Much cheaper than the ceremonial grade one, so if you enjoy drinking matcha for its flavour, this one worth to buy.

I don't normally leave product reviews, simply because I don't have a lot more to add than 100 people have already said. I feel it important to review this product because of the vast price variation on matcha throughout the market and this could possibly save someone a lot of money. I've tried quite a few different brands of matcha, many of which are 3 and more times the price of this brand. I have to say, this is just as good as any of the expensive leading brands. The few people who have left bad reviews are obviously inexperienced with matcha and how to prepare it. So it's not this brand they have a problem with, it's matcha in general. I don't think I've seen a better bargain on this quantity of matcha anywhere. There's a lot in the pack for your money. I tastes exactly the same as all of the leading, expensive brands, it does exactly the same job and it mixes exactly the same. Take a teaspoon of the powder, a little more or less depending on how strong you want it to be, put it in a large mug, add a drop of cold water and then stir it around into a paste. From there, my personal preference is to add in a squeeze of honey. You can use a different sweetener or none at all. Once you've got your paste, then you need to decide what you're going to fill the mug with. I use a little milk and water mixed together. Use that, just water, just milk, a milk substitute, whatever. Now heat your filler to warm, just below hot. Gradually add that to the paste, stirring as you go. This is the method I use and this product makes the perfect mug of matcha. I adore coffee but I've been using this for a few weeks now and I haven't had a single cup of coffee and this one mug in the morning provides energy throughout the day. And I think it tastes great. This brand has saved me a lot of money, it's exactly the same as any other matcha and hopefully it'll save you a lot of money also.

Nice quality matcha with a good flavour. Mixes well and works great for matcha lattes or smoothies. Good value for the amount you get.

This is actualy my 5th order. I loved the wuality of this matcha. I have tried the cheap ones but I can actually notice the diffirence.

This is my first purchase of Japanese Organic Matcha, which I purchased based on positive Amazon reviews. First impressions. Nicely packaged but couldn't find any instructions. A quick sniff of the contents, it smelt like lawn grass. One customer review recommended a small teaspoon per mug of tea, otherwise a larger quantity may taste bitter. I used 1 coffee spoon of powder to a glass infuser mug. It had a grass-green appearance when dissolved in hot water. The taste wasn't unpleasant, but neither was it appetising. I added a quarter teaspoon of honey, which definitely made the Matcha more palatable. (I shall try mixing the Matcha with other food combinations, beginning with my morning Herbalife shake). Within a few minutes of drinking the Matcha tea, I did notice that it had a pleasant relaxing effect. So, I will continue drinking Matcha for its benefits, but not for it's taste. In the same way that I would take prescibed medication. Flavour is secondary to medicinal benefit.

Does the job of making an average matcha for the price. The ceremonial grade by this brand has a more vibrant colour and brighter taste. This one has a more bitter edge to it. Probably best for baked goods, but if you like enjoying/savouring the taste of matcha in a drink, go for the ceremonial grade line for this brand

Probably the best quality matcha I've ever bought on Amazon. It's very smooth and creamy, beautiful emerald colour, not a hint of fishiness that people mentioned in the comments. Some people probably just perceive L-theanine, Glutamic Acid or DMS compounds as fishy, especially if you're new to matcha. This matcha is fresh and of great quality. I will be repurchasing.

Ce matcha est vraiment délicieux ! Sa belle couleur verte intense montre sa bonne qualité. Le goût est raffiné, doux et pas trop amer, très agréable à boire. Je l’utilise pour préparer des cappuccinos et le résultat est excellent – il apporte une touche fine et spéciale. Je l’apprécie beaucoup et je le recommande vivement !

This powdered matcha was incredibly easy to make and tasted great. I blended mine with ube flavor for a sweet matcha latte!
