HOFISH3 Inches Gel Infused Memory Foam Mattress Topper-Twin

The media could not be loaded.  I have a pillow top mattress that wasn't comfortable anymore so I started doing some shopping for foam toppers as well as mattress pad toppers. I bought this to layer with a 2inch down alternative and all I can say is WOW!! Our bed is so comfy & soft. We keep cool as well. I love it!

I bought this for my 60 year old Sister that has back issues, and leg nerve damage. She has told me she has never in so many years slept so well in one position while using this mattress topper! She is thrilled, and you can tell by her extra energy she has been sleeping better then ever! I plan on buying another for my Mom for Mother's Day.

I love the way this topper feels, but I can't sleep on it anymore. Every time I spend a night on it, I wake up with a sinus head ache, a runny nose, and nausea. I used it for a few days, suspected my symptoms were from the foam, left it on my deck for a couple days to air out, put it aside for another week, and tried it again, last night. Woke up this morning with the same head ache and nausea I had last time I slept on it.I hate to think what nastiness is in this thing that it would have that much of an effect on me. It's headed for the landfill :(UPDATE 5/7/18The seller e-mailed and offered me a full refund or a mattress cover if I would take down my review. I don't feel great about that arrangement, so I'm not removing my review.In fairness, my husband slept next to me when I was using the topper and he never had a problem.

Based on reviews and information that the Hofish 3-inch gel foam memory topper had minimal smell from offgassing, I bought this to top a newly purchased mattress that is too firm for me. The topper arrived on time, well-packed, and as described. I was able to put the mattress on my bed the same day it arrived, even though I had expected it to take several days for the smell to go away. What a boon! The first night my neck and shoulders relaxed and felt fully supported.

If you're like me and are thinking of buying this to help an old sagging mattress, don't bother, it only makes it worse. The foam on this mattress pad is very soft and squishes down to nothing, giving little to no support what so ever. You'll wind up laying in a gel foam hammock and it's almost impossible to even roll over. This mattress pad must be used on top of a firm, new mattress, or in for some serious sagging. This will not help out an old mattress. It's too soft, you sink into it, and it worse than what you were laying on before. I'm returning it, if I can find a way to roll the thing back up and get it back in the box.

I bought this topper because I often have to spend a week at a time sleeping in a hospital call room bed. Unsurprisingly, the call room bed is uncomfortable, so I thought bringing a topper may help improve the situation. Upon taking it out of the box, I was concerned because there were large sections in the middle that appeared crush. Fortunately, within an hour, the mattress topper had expanded more evenly. By the time I used it that night, it was pretty even. I placed the topper on I believe a Full size bed, and the length is not excessive. After sleeping on it for a couple nights, I did find improvement in the comfort of the call room bed. I didn't feel hot, and I didn't feel like I was sinking completely into quick sand. I still had a little ache when I woke up, but I usually wake up with even more significant aches. Given that I did find improved comfort with the topper and it did eventually expand up, I am giving it 4 stars. I will update my review if things start to get smushed, though I will only be using this topper a few times a year. I still enjoy the comfort of my own bed (Casper mattress actually).

What a huge difference the two inch topper made. I’ll start at the beginning. My husband took a job in a different city so we have a split household for a year. In an effort to keep cost down he bought an inexpensive queen innerspring mattress from Ikea that came rolled up. I went for a visit and the mattress was so hard I feel fairly certain the flintstones had a softer mattress than the one he got. It was so bad that I actually slept two nights in the garage in the car because I felt like the bed was bruising me!I really didn’t want to have to spend a fortune on a new mattress that will likely be ditched in a year so I decided to try this topper. I really had a hard time deciding between the two and three inch topper. However, even though I thought bigger might be better on the rock bed, my mom has a three inch one of another brand on her bed and I hate it because I feel like I’m in quicksand, so I decided to take my chances on the two inch topper.I could not be happier. The two inch topper is absolutely prefect. I also added an overfilled polyfill topper. I had such a fantastic sleep in that bed, that I’m thinking of ordering one for our king size bed just to refresh it. My husband did say it had a very slight smell once it was unrolled but he left it in another room for three days and said the smell was completely gone when he got around to putting it on the bed. Do not hesitate to get this topper if you have an overly firm mattress that needs to be softer. It is the perfect combination of soft, and supportive.
