I’m enjoying this face balm as it really hydrates my skin well. It’s made with quality ingredients such as, retinol, Bakuchiol oil, Smartweed, honey, Calendula, jojoba, and vitamin E. The balm arrives in a white plastic jar with a lid that simply unscrews.Since this is a balm, it doesn’t take much product to cover your skin. All you have to do is use your index finger and gently rub lightly on top of the balm. Then simply apply the product to your skin with your finger.If you’ll use a small amount of the balm on your skin, the balm Does absorb well. The balm isn’t tacky at all nor is there any added fragrance. The balm goes on nice and smooth and hasn’t irritated my skin at all. I’m applying the balm in the evening. When I wake, my skin is well hydrated and ready to take on the day!This balm is Physician Formulated and a Research Supported product. The price point of this balm is fair considering it only takes a little product to cover your skin. If your skin is lacking hydration, this product would make a wonderful addition to your daily skincare routine.I Do Recommend this product, It’s made with quality ingredients, fairly priced, and hydrates your skin really well. This product is very heavy, almost like a wax! It didn't do any great miracles for my skin either. I bought the serum as well & it smells even worse! I only use it when my husband is gone out of town. I use the "waxy" face cream as a cuticle cream! I will use it up because of the price but won't be buying it again!

Greasy, Gritty, Not a great scent. There are better products out there.

I have been using the Fountain of Youth extra strength restorative melting balm by Visage Pure and have found the hydration to be very beneficial. I have used it as a hand cream, face mask, under my makeup, and in the evening before bed. The balm has a slightly earthy smell that almost immediately dissipates and can no longer be smelled when on the skin. What I like most about this balm is that the moisture is apparently long-lasting. I can feel and see a difference in the texture of my skin hours after application. Even though it is an oily balm, it is versatile. I just have had to be careful how much I use for certain situations. For example, I use it lighter during the day under makeup than at night. It helps my makeup look hydrated and fresh. So far, it has made a positive impact on the appearance and health of my skin. I will continue to use this balm and will likely order it again in the future.

It is wonderful for super dry skin but it needs to be warmed up in your hands before applying it since it is so thick. This probably isn't for everyone - especially those with oily skin since the main ingredients are oil-based and not the kind that works for that skin type. I have super dry skin and it works for me. It has a slightly medicinal scent.Polygonum Hydropiper (Smartweed plant) is a natural source of Resveratrol and is known to lessen the appearance of fine lines as it protects the skin from environmental damage.This comes in a basic white plastic jar and contains 50 grams. It has no expiration date but it should be used within 6 months of opening since everything is organic. This is a skin care balm which is terrific for dry winter skin. It is a dense solid and has a light scent of beeswax. No fragrance added…there are some botanicals but the scent is simply beeswax which I love.This product feels like a “problem solved” when it meets my winter dry skin. It’s very moisturizing and protective. For example, I used this prior to shoveling snow and it kept my face from getting blotchy and wind burnt. Lasts all day.Before I had dry skin I might not have loved the heft of this product….but now it is ideal. Made in Canada.

This moisturizer is everything for these cold winter months! Wow. I'm typically a dry and flaky type in the winter, and I have cycled through a few creams hoping to find a winner. THIS cream? Amazing. Since it's a thicker and more oily type of feel to it, I put it on at night so it has plenty of time to fully absorb into my skin. I wake up and my skin feels so nourished and hydrated! It's amazing. This is an organic product, so I like knowing it was made with better quality ingredients. I totally recommend this as a deeply moisturizing night cream. I even put a thick layer on my feet at night and covered them with socks- absolutely heaven!!!! I woke up and my feet felt so soft! This is a fabulous moisturizing balm.
