Q: I want to attach a submersible filter to the pump. Is there an inlet pipe in the filter cage so I can attach the filter?

No, but there are filter bags available to put your pump into.

Q: Can a filter and skimmer be attached to the Pennington Aqua Garden size 300-500 pump?

I’m sure you could create an in-line filter & skimmer, but it would reduce per gallon flow. As an FYI my pump died out after about 11 months, it was used in a 3 tier fountain.

Q: Where can I get a hose fitting attatchment

Any hardware store. Take it with you.

Q: How does the hose fitting to fit –½”, ¾” & 1” work? I would have a 1" hose going to the fountain. Also what kind of hose do they recommend? Thanks.

Located in the manual are instructions on how to fit the different size hoses on according to the diameter of the hose you are going to use. You can purchase hoses from hardware and aquatic retailers.
