On Sun Swallowing

I have pushed off buying this book because it’s pricey for its size. But, it was totally worth it. Amazing poems and photos throughout. Love it. Highly recommend.

Dakota Warren has such a talent of turning the macabre into something beautiful. Every line was a delight of the senses, but there was also such vulnerability and honesty in each piece. I really loved that. The layout of the piece itself is also really nice. Each poem and prose has a photograph or a sketch beside it. There are even sections which I believe feature Dakota’s own handwriting? Either way, I enjoy this layout. The visuals accompanying the poetry serve to pull you even deeper into the piece. I couldn’t put this book down. It’s definitely the best thing I’ve read this year. I will definitely be looking out for whatever she writes next. Beautiful.

i'm so excited to read this book and take it on adventures with me! it arrived so quickly and in great condition. i also think that the price is very reasonable as there are lots of pages with color and photographs. i love it. <3- bella

Lady Dakota has changed my life.

This product deserves zero stars. The cover and print are upside down from each other and the text is cut off. This was given as a birthday gift and not noted until it was opened this morning. Terribly disappointing gift. I’m sure the writing itself would be phenomenal, if it could be read.

there aren’t enough stars in the entire universe to rate this book.i have never felt so seen in literature or poetry. it feels as though this is a part of my soul. nothing compares, or will ever compare.

This book was requested by son for Christmas and it arrived in great condition, perfect for his present

I devoured this book;its prose, poetry, photos, thoughts are so raw, so genuine I could feel them getting under my skin. Truly a masterpiece , I am 100% glad I bought this.
