Kurt Adler 14-Inch Fiber Optic Ivory and Gold Animated Angel Treetop

Kurt Adler 14-Inch Fiber Optic Ivory and Gold is the second one I order over the past three years.The first one worked great for the 1st Christmas. The second Christmas It stopped moving and got very warm. I used the angel this year without it moving and saw it on sale on Amazon so I bought another one for next year. I just love the way it moves and the wing changes color. I feel this is expensive would not buy it again if it quits working after one year or two years, until they can make it work longer. She is very pretty. Everyone that see her think she is beautiful and love how it's head,arm and wings move.I'm keeping my finger cross that it will work for a long time.

Very beautiful. It was working out of the box, no problems with the motor (yet) like other reviewers reported. The wings change color independently and have a twinkle effect. Her porcelain face is prettier in person. It was making a scratching sound at first and just noticed some fabric needed to be shifted out of the way if her wings. I took a picture to demonstrate where the fiber optics were on the wings and in her hand - forgive the dark room but that offered the best contrast. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family member.

As others have said (and I promptly thought, that's silly, I'm sure it's fine) this angel is FAR TOO HEAVY and large to use as a tree topper, at least on a real tree. If you have a fake tree made of steel rods, you might be okay. It weighs a ton (about 6-7 pounds) with a 2 1/2" diameter plastic tube to fit over the tree branch. There is also an extension to make the tube longer, but unless there is a stable "base" of branches for her to rest her large girth on, she will tip from side to side and threaten to fall on the children below!The movement is a little creepy because it is just so unnatural. You can bend the bouquet-thing around a little so it's not right in her face, but she really swings that thing and twists her head like crazy. This could be because the ceramic of the head/neck was broken, so her head was a little crooked. This caused her head to run into the wing with every pass.The wings, however, are gorgeous! The light change is noticeable, but not obnoxious. It kind of changes colors in waves, rather than fading or instantly changing colors. Very pretty! The dress and ribbons are pretty as well. If I didn't have a destructive puppy, I might keep it as a table topper - except it's broken, so it's going back anyway.

I bought this angel to replace the one I gave to my daughter for her Christmas tree and I was very excited to find one that both the wings and hands moved. The package arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. I was pleased with this angel the only negative feedback I have is that the one wing is slightly bent and the flowers were not glued well enough to be out of her face but it was an easy fix using a pipe cleaner to tie it back out of her face

The angel is gorgeous and is beautiful when it works. Unfortunately we have had 2 break. The first caught on fire, thought it was a fluke and purchased a second one to replace it. The second just decided it no longer wanted to light up or move. Very disappointed.

This is a pretty angel for a countertop, but I look forward to the time it stops moving. It makes too much noise, and frankly, I don't think it adds much to the visual appeal.

I just received and unpacked this angel. It was ready to use right away. I plugged it into the wall and fell in love with it immediately. It is so beautiful. The angels wings, head, and arms move. The wings change colors and even the skirt lights up. This angel is well worth the money. The shipping was very fast. The order shipped one day and I received it the next. It was well packaged to avoid damage during transit. I would very much buy from this seller again.

This is a beautiful tree angel, but we have had 2 in the past month and now the second one has stopped moving. The last animated tree angel we had lasted for over a decade. They are hard to find, and apparently not made like they used to be. We would be willing to pay more money for a tree angel that lasted longer than a couple of weeks. The first one we purchased stopped moving after a day. It is incredibly frustrating.

The listing said that this was an animated (i.e. moving parts) angel, but it definitely is not. It's loud enough when plugged it that it sounds like there's a motor running, but the arms and wings stay completely still. It's pretty, but not what was wanted.
