Love them
Had done enough research to know that I wanted a pair of Hawke binoculars.. but that was about all I knew. Chose this pair as they were just at the right price point for me and have not regretted a single penny of what I spent.They are relatively light, compact, stylish and really good at what they do.

Great pair of binoculars. Only slight downside is they're a little heavy, but worth it for ease of use

Hawke 8x42 bins
I am pleased with the quality of these binoculars, they have pleasing clarity are not what you'd call compact and lightweight but saying that, for their spec, their size and weight are not remotely troublesome. I wear glasses, and when the eyepieces are screwed down they operate well. The eyepieces do have a tendancy to unscrew themselves, which is mildly irritating but easily remedied. I find the end lens caps frustrating, for whilst they have a flap attaching them to the bins (which is generally secure although fell off today), they do not fit snugly enough to remain in situ and have to be continually pushed back on. Overall though, very pleased with optics quality, field of view, clarity and picture quality. Would have appreciated a receipt, some sort of document having spent £209. Suppose I can print off my Amazon email.

Lightweight quality binoculars
I selected these binoculars for my wife. She is delighted with them as they are light and easy for her to hold. The field of view is very suitable for bird watching and the quality of the optics results in first class images.
