Awesome rod!
Perfect for what I use it for! Flipping!I can even somehow throw 1/8th jigs on these and still get it out 60-70 feet

It’s a good rig.
I surf fish along the Monterey Bay, and this combo is excellent for my style of fishing. I use light tackle and cover a lot of water. The rod is strong enough to handle a 20lb stripper and sensitive enough to feel the bites of a 1/2 surf perch. The reel is equally as impressive. I can pack the reel full of 8lb braid and cast well beyond 100 yards. It’s got a great retrieve rate and the drag is smooth.It’s a great combo for those wanting an affordable inshore rig. I can’t complain about it at all. Not only is the combo awesome, with each purchase they restore some oyster habitat to help clean water and keep the environment healthy.

The reel and pole is really cheap made not worth $150 this is my first and last of this brand

Amazing Combo
In a few words, this is a great combo! Performs above expectations in tight spaces when casting is a challenge. My setup is with braided line, the reel is as smooth as butter; watch for line tension when you do your initial spooling and don’t overload. Road action is amazing both for casting and landing fish. I got a 4 lb bass in a lake and last week a nice 10 inch trout in a river run.

It’s worth the money
Well there’s nothing to not like about this set up it works perfectly the action is great I am very pleased with this pole and reelWould I buy it again absolutely !!!
