Very pleased. For those that are confused the axle is bolt on, however it mounts with quick-release. On quick release rims the axles and retaining systems are different.I run this on a motorized bike, not a weak one either. I needed a good strong rim that could hold up to speeds of 40-50 mph and this can do it nicely. Most rims I have ordered came with the spokes loose, axles loose, and needed serious adjustment. This came ready to mount out of the box. I checked everything through and through and only tightened one spoke (and it probably didnt need it). The wheel is true, and the brake ridge doesnt slip or squeal. Weight isnt really an issue for me but I was surprised how light it was, I was expecting a fair bit heavier. The first test I always do on a rear rim is locking the brakes and turning the bike sideways, for me at 30mph that tells me real fast if it will hold up. This took the abuse and wanted more.Overall if your looking for a replacement for a low to mid range bike, you cant go wrong. If I can run it on a motorized bike that may as well be a motorcycle, itll stand up to whatever you can do to it on your standard bicycle.

Junk. Don't buy. This is a very low grade product made of sub-standard materials. Bearing assembly had excessive play after about 2 months and has gotten steadily worse to the point where I have to open up the brake adjustment to an unacceptable width just to avoid interference. Maybe mine is defective but this does not speak well for the product and I would recommend avoiding it and finding something better. Kind of sad when a shoddy product like this commands $63. The original wheel on the bike lasted for years before it developed anywhere near this degree of play. I still have that wheel and am going to put it back on since even in it's abandoned state it outshines this product. I certainly wouldn't shell out for another one of these.

Good, solid wheel replacement for my cyclocross bike that I use for touring/commuting. I don't do any actual cross riding so I don't know how it will hold up to cyclocross conditions.

Wrong size. 26 inches is the outer diameter of the tire not the wheel. The wheel was too big for the tire.
