The serving platters are a perfect size and shape. I use them for casual as well as company dinners. I am sorting and purging older dishes, etc., and these (along with 2 bowls I purchased), will serve most situations . . .and they are easy to store! Highly recomend.

These platters are great for serving a large item like nachos or a big salad, and don't judge me but they balance nicely on your lap and are easy to pick up and relocate if you are watching TV and need more water because your nachos are too spicy. If people in your household are prone to dropping things, this is a level up. You can bring out snacks to a group without worrying about dropping the platter and everything on it. They are not too heavy, lighter than stoneware, and they have a delicate look to them and very sleek lines. That also makes them easy to clean! These could be used for display, serving, or for a large meal. A good gift for housewarming or a host gift, and a good replacement for heavy platters that don't have handles!
