Like many, I was so sick of those felt pads falling off, then getting sticky gunk ok my wooden floors. I have 3 active little boys so I try to find durable everything. When these arrived they appeared to be too small for the legs of my chairs, but after getting one on, they fit perfectly and work so well. Getting them on can be a bit tricky, and you may need something to get that last lip over to push it flush, but once it’s on you’re good to go. It’s amazing how happy these chair caps make me! They have felt bottoms that allow them to slide gently on the floor without scratching. These are on tight enough that they will not fall off, and they are unnoticeable on my black chairs. Love these!! Getting another set for my square bar stools, so I’ll see how those fit.

BEWARE: The product seems fine, except that the size range they post (1.14 to 1.30) is not accurate. My chair legs are on the low end of this range (about 1.18), and the floor protectors were way too loose. They immediately fell off if the chair was lifted.I would have returned them, but fortunately I own a 3D printer, so I was able to make inserts and adjust the fit. Still, it cost me time and a couple bucks of plastic to make these usable.My guess is that without alteration these won't be tight enough for anything below 1.2", maybe even 1.25".

They're kinda ugly but they work well. I was using the sticky felt pads prior to these and they would never stay on my chairs. The sticky felt pads would come off then get all this sticky residue on my hardwood floors along with being a magnet for dog hair (german shepherd). I was contemplating put the nail in felt pads on but didn't want to de-virginize my chairs because they are antiques. Saw these cap style ones and decided to give it a shot. They work well, they stay on the feet even when sliding the chair while sitting in it. Overall I would buy again.

These things are so awesome that not only did I use all 12 I ordered, I immediately bought 24 more for my boyfriend.Pros:* Easy to install on the right size chair leg* Possible to force onto legs up to 1/4" too large* Extremely solid and durable once installed* Bottom slides easily on floor -- this makes it perfect for furniture you move around a lot, such as chairs. I tried a few furniture feet and some others were super grippy and made it a little difficult to pull a chair in and out quickly. These, on the other hand -- perfect for chairs, it's like sliding on a cloud.Cons:???

I have chairs around a kitchen island, and a ceramic tile floor. Every time a chair would be moved, there would be an awful screech followed by a thump, then another screech as the legs bounced across the tile grout indentations. No other caps that I tried would work, as the legs are rectangular (it's not easy to find rectangular caps), and anything that is glued on will soon be rubbed off because of the indentations in the floor. Also, the chairs are frosted birch, so white caps were too light and brown too dark. These caps are perfect. They look good, they fit perfectly, and now the chairs glide silently across each tile and the indentations in between! They don't collect dirt and hair, either! Love them!

My chair legs are square, 1.25" (or 1 1/4") wide by long. The square set fit them perfectly. The back legs of my chairs slant a little bit and it still worked fine. My chairs are a very dark espresso color on the wooden parts - and this does not detract from the look. You have to really LOOK at the bottoms to notice them. I'd say they are 80-90% see through. They also stay ON and they slide so easily and quietly. Thank you! Love them!

These products are an interestingidea, but I find that they don't exactly "hold" onto the leg of your particular chair unless the available sizing exactly matches the individual chair leg and shape you have. So if you measure or guesstimate wrongly, you might find that the leg caps have slipped off your chair, or simply that the shape of your chair leg (my chair legs are angled slightly, so the flat plane of the rectangle doesn't exactly fit the angled rectangle shape of the bottom of the leg). Still, these are not bad.I've also reordered the little knitted "chair socks" we normally use - possibly, I will try to pull the sock over these silicone bases and see if the two devices work well together (but I also think that might end up looking very crazy, design-wise).

These little things work great! I was skeptical at first because of their size, but it's a nice and snug fit! The 16pcs are great too bc we have extra in case we need to replace. Eat part about them is that you can not see them!

I purchased these as a gift for their new table. We are all very pleased: they look great and the chairs slide smoothly. Actually these were the only 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 that I could find and they are perfect.I recommend these chair leg protectors.

I purchased 2 sets of these for my 6 dining chairs and they're perfect in allowing the chairs to slide out from under the table without scratching the floor.
