I own this book and bought it when I first started beading. I found it very informative and helpful. I purchased this for two people for Christmas gifts who are just getting started making beaded jewelry. It tells the reader about the different types of beads and tools. It explains how to use some of the tools, also. It has some nice pictures of beaded jewelry that I found helpful. I would recommend it for people who are new to beading.

Perfect Basic Book
If there was a class before beading 101 I would have taken it since I was totally unfamiliar with any beading vocabulary, names for tools or any those zillion little bead ,"things", This book is exactly what I needed to get me started! It truly starts at the beginning, has lots of pictures with labels, simple ideas, and clear directions. Brought me to a place where I can enter a bead store, describe what I'm looking for and actually use the correct terms. Now I can make things that my friends actually notice and compliment. This is the perfect starter book!

Not the Very Best for Very Beginning Beavers, Who Learn Best Vizually
I purchased this book for my in-laws, who just began beading for the first time. They like lots and lots of clear pictures. While they have learned some from this book, they requested even more basic books with more pictures. Great price though!

Good to hold onto to look back when ya have a questions
Love this beading book! Great read, great refresher when I can’t remember how to do a certain beading job.Will say wish the print font was bigger so would be easier to see

Im learning so much!! As a beginner i have so many questions andthis book answers alot of them. Its very helpful, going over the different types if beads and tools and things u use in beading and jewelry making. I am really enjoying this book!! I recommend it to other beginners like me!

Very useful book
I was a bit disappointed to find that this is a slim paperback, but it has turned out to be one of my most useful bead jewellery books, to which I frequently refer for ideas and information.

Beading 101
Handy book to have in the craft room, used it lots and is a great help. Really helpful for a beginner.

Good book
A good book for insruction and nice detailed descriptions. Helps to navigate your way around the numerous beads available. Shows techniques but do wish it had of shown more cord jewellary techniques. A good all round book fo someone starting to show an interest in making their own jewellary.
