It is very good rod, I would fix only one thing which is the handle length should be 2 inches shorter to make easy to rest on the hip

Casts Great and Not Heavy in the Hand
Casting with distance felt effortlessly with this rod. Compared to my 12' Big Water Ugly stick, this rod is more manageable to cast with accuracy. I'd highly recommend this rod for anyone wanting a longer rod for casting further.

The reviews were right. Broke 50lb test braided line my first 2 casts!!
The first thing I noticed is there were fewer guides than any other of my rods this long. I loaded this up with my Penn 7500 from my Hurricane rod and let it fly....and it did! Broke 50lb test braided line. I thought maybe it was something I did so I rigged up another set up and let it fly....and it did again!! So now that is about $40 bucks I just tossed into the ocean. OK, obviously not something I'm doing wrong. I had 3 other poles out and no issues. I couldn't see any defect with the guides but there is something amiss with these poles. It is being returned.Spend the extra money on a known decent rod!

Very light rod
Very nice rod for the money good back bone

Does not hold up
Only 4 uses in and the eyes are falling apart and one snapped at the top section with a nice red drum on the line.
