Q: Just come off a holiday to find my cat has alot of bad matted furs. 2 big ones the width of 2-3 inches round. Will this remove them?

Not really-the same thing happened to my Siberian cat and I just had to tease them out slowly by separating them gradually and trimming very carefully with scissors well away from his skin over a period of 2 weeks. The Matt breaker is good for little matts or for maintaining his fur but really pulls if you try to yank it through big matts. Good luck-my cat would tolerate about 10 mins of trimming every few hours if I let him see/smell the scissors first.

Q: Can it be used on a cavapoo

I've not used it on my poochons. I bought it to use on my long haired Birman cat who was getting knots as he is 16 years old now. It works wonders on him. My daughter also used it on her border collie but I wouldn't recommend for very curly fur dogs.
