I will echo many of the other comments that the directions are trying at best. To put this together I would suggest first reading all the directions then watching the silent video on youtube on it (still not greatly helpful but a little) and then start putting things together. I had a few mishaps but overall got it together by myself in about 2 hours. The cabinet overall is of very good quality and looks really nice put together. It is the perfect size to put my all-in-one printer on the top and store normal documents in the file folder draw (love that feature).

So for a long time I was looking for a filing cabinet that also had some type of storage on it but nothing too big because I have a very small bedroom, I finally found this on Amazon so I went through the reviews and seemed pretty good for the most part so I gave it a try. I’m really glad that I did because it fits perfectly next to my dresser in the corner and has just enough room for all my personal stuff, there’s only two small things about it, I wish it was slightly taller and it personally took me way longer to build with and most of the reviews mentioned, I saw that it took most people about two hours but it actually took me four hours, now I do have to mention that I did it all by myself so no one helped and I did it while taking my time watching TV so I was probably going much slower than most, also for the most part the instructions are pretty good but there were a couple of parts that confused me causing me to set it up wrong two different times then having to take it apart to fix it which set me back a bit. The hardest part for me was the metal sliders that the drawers and the filing cabinet go onto, it took me a while to figure out how they go on but once everything was coming together it became kind of easy. So overall as long as you have time and patience than I would definitely recommend this but if you get frustrated easily then you’ll be better off buying something that’s already put together.

I gave 4 stars out of 5 stars for this product. Overall, I am very happy with the way the file cabinet turned out. Looks great and is very sturdy. I can tell this is a piece of furniture that will last me more than just a couple years. And even if I decide to upgrade, I think it will still have a pretty good resale value.Where this cabinet lost the star for me, is in the instructions. First off - instructions tell you that you need 2 people. This is not correct. I was able to assemble this desk, by myself, and I don't consider myself to be too handy. Just an FYI - because I noticed no review previously stated the timeframe it takes to assemble - this desk will take you about 2-3 hours to assemble depending on how many people are helping and how good you are at assembling furniture. I did this alone and don't consider myself too handy, and it took me a full 3 hours to complete.This instructions also lacked in general product labeling. Some pieces don't have the stickers that identify which board number it is. Common sense allowed me to figure it out pretty quickly, but just be aware that some pieces aren't labeled at all. The way the instructions are labeled (directional arrows, which piece goes were) is not ideal as well. I put the bottom cabinet together to find that I switched two pieces. When I reviewed the instructions, it was an instructional error, not mine. Happy to have figured it out but I had to take apart the entire drawer to come to a conclusion. Idk if they mislabeled the pieces or if the instructions were just wrong, but that caused me a solid 30 minute headache to figure out.Overall, very happy with the way the cabinet turned out. Perfect for what I need it for. And it looks good too. I obviously wish it was a little cheaper - to me this is more of a $80 - $100 piece of furniture. But I think this will serve it's purpose and I'll probably try to resell it after I use it for a couple years for $50-$75.

I bought the DEVAISE 3-Drawer Wood File Cabinet for my husband's office, and he absolutely loves it. It arrived in a compact box, and while it wasn’t too heavy, the packaging was still secure. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making assembly a breeze.Although the cabinet was a bit smaller than I initially expected, it turned out to be a perfect fit for the space. It fits snugly under his L-shaped adjustable desk, which was a pleasant surprise. Despite its size, the cabinet feels sturdy, and the drawers slide open and close smoothly, making it highly functional for office use.The rolling casters are a nice feature, making it easy to move around as needed. For the price, this cabinet offers excellent value. If you’re looking for a compact yet sturdy filing cabinet that doesn’t take up too much space, this is definitely a great purchase.

I purchased this piece to hold my printer. Seems sturdy enough. My son put it together in no time but could not get file drawer to fit properly but another son discovered something he did wrong. After correcting, the drawer fit properly. Looks as pictured.
