Bought for an Arab friend n it gave them a good chuckle.

I get carers coming in to assist me and a had to explain the Scottish phrases minging and what a minger is don’t ask why so I got this book for one of my regulars he now uses phrases like you getting out yer scratcher and that T shirts too Nimpit for ye this is a funny and useful book for the translating of Scottish to the kings English

Bought as a gift for my girlfriend’s sister, it went down a treat

I don’t know what I expected but something more substantial for sure. This little book is more like a fun comic. It’s one word on each page. I wouldn’t have bought it if I’d known. But not worth sending it back. What happened to showing some pages of books like Amazon used to do? It does give a few slang words and their meaning but personally I would not recommend but I suppose it depends on what you’re after. Maybe good as a stocking filler or a secret Santa present due to the cost. But for a gift for yourself it’s easier and cheaper to Google the info.

This was a great gift and brought on a lot of laughs to the party. surprisingly enough, the sketches are as funny as the vocabulary.

This little guide is a brilliant little book with lots of random Scottish words in it. There’s a few I know but mostly I’ve never heard of them before and it can make for some good party conversations.

Purchased as a gift for a friend. Fairly happy with the content of the books. Would have preferred to be able to actually view the goods before purchase, but that's impossible when buying online.
