Excellent product
Excellent product. Solved the problem I had with black mould. Works well with HG mould spray. Highly recommended

Very good
Very pleased with this. It really has sealed away the damp I was getting in the kitchen from condensation. Well worth investing in. Be careful though as when you spray it tends to go everywhere, not just where you want it to go. I also bought a tin & used the spray for hard to get to areas

This is must easier than the paint-on version of the product.
As an amateur DIYer I have used the paint-on Polycell damp seal paint before, its reassuringly thick, but to get an even coat takes a little practice. For professional decorators I am sure this is not a problem. The spray can version is much quicker and easier to apply the thickness you need. If you need a very thin coat (if you are applying layers) you can see an even finish without going back over to assure yourself you have a proper layer.Worth the extra money.

Worked, but unpleasant to use. Get the paint-on version.
Seems to have worked, but really unpleasant to use! Luckily I had covered all surfaces in the entire room before I sprayed this, as a friend had warned me about it. I sprayed it in a small area in one corner, but the spray really spreads and when I was removing the protective coverings I could see from the ‘vapour’ marks that it had got onto every surface in the whole room (I’d opened two large windows in the room too). It’s almost like letting off some sort of super-glue bomb. I could also smell it downstairs, even though I had put a plastic sheet over the closed door of the room I sprayed it in.I definitely wouldn’t recommend this spray if you have pets, small kids or respiratory problems. I have none of those, but it still wasn’t great even though I wore a protective mask. It did work as a seal though - so I’d recommend the paint-on version.

Good stuff that actually works
This stuff is good. I had a leak in my kitchen which has a flat roof and some rain water came through the ceiling so I looked for something to repair it. This came up in a search and I decided to give it a go. It is an aerosol that you have to shake quite a bit to get it to work properly, this can be quite tiring and made my arm ache so I would recommend doing this in a seated position so as not to make you dizzy, there is more of this and I will come onto that later. You then have to get onto a chair and point it at the damp patch and hold the nozzle down so that the chemical sprays out onto the affected area. At first it looks like nothing is happening but it soon becomes clear that the spray is, in fact, depositing a fine residue on the flat surface so that the spores of the damp patch are covered up. It does not take long before the staining diminishes and your, in my case ceiling, is back to relative normality. Having descended from the chair I perused my handiwork from ground level and, if I squinted hard enough, it looked like there had never been a damp patch at all (which I know is factually incorrect of course). It may have been the squinting but I did notice that my head felt a bit fuzzy after using this product, it was of course, more likely to have been me breathing in some of the fumes which is not recommended. The sensible thing would be to wear a mask or at least tie a (clean) hanky over your mouth but I had not through of this and was too excited to spray over my damp patch. It is also not recommended that you spray this product where there is food nearby. I had left a couple of peaches on the kitchen worktop that tasted a bit strange afterwards, luckily I only took a small bit out of each, they were not particularly ripe anyway so I threw them into the composting box in my garden.

Magic cure for nasty brown ceiling stains!!
This stuff is brilliant! I had a major hot water tank burst which left lots of brown water stains on our ceiling. I used a can of 500 ml and wow they have all gone like magic. It is hardly necessary to redecorate was is an Artex ceiling as the white colour match is almost perfect. I might use a second can to give a second coat in a day or two but it might not be necessary! This product is MAGIC and very reasonably priced. It applies almost like a dry powder deodorant!!! Easy to use! Virtually no mess save a fine dust from the spray! Brilliant

Works well, easy to use. Heavy solvent though.
Does what it says immediately. Dries white do be careful where you spray it or remove the overstayed edges promptly with a wet wipe. Illiminated a stubborn damp/ sewer type smell in a bathroom and provided a good base on which to paint. A tad expensive but with postage covered and ease of use , I didn't mind St all. Do wear a face mask, goggles or glasses and ventilate the room for a couple of hours thereafter. Very heavy solvent smell.
