My daughter got this for my son for his birthday and he loved it! I was worried because it wasn't a "real" lego and we have had bad luck with most that are not. This one is great! Just buy it, you won't be sorry!

Bought for my son. It seemed a little complicated for him to put together, age 8. He did love the concept of this with a little assistance.

Purchased for my 8 y/o grandson and he's spent hours building with these. Well worth it!

This set seriously blew my kids and I away. The bricks are top notch and identical to big L’s quality (perfect color, clutch, no misprints). The stickers are as good as they get too. Oftentimes with these inexpensive sets I just toss the stickers, but these actually look good and stick on very cleanly. The instructions are great too. They do print a bit smaller than the popular, expensive company, but the color, print quality, and clear instructions make the process a breeze.The vehicle builds are super fun and look great. Each of the 12 vehicles comes in separate bags and a labeled sticker section. Each are about 60 pieces and take about 5-15 minutes to assemble depending on your age (my little one is under 10 and built one while I worked on another - you can see the instructions for 2 at a time with the way they’re laid out). All of the vehicles look surprisingly great and they’re a really fun, small scale. All of the vehicles have an alternate build that they include on the same page. Some of the alternate builds look a little weird and feel forced, but surprisingly, the majority are actually awesome and look really good in their own regard. There are 24 total small vehicles in total, of which 19-20 are actually really great looking.We’re so happy with the little vehicles that we’re going to hold off building the robot for a bit. They’re all very well assembled and will actually hold up to play. Based on how good the vehicles look (even better than the pics), I’m confident the robot will be stunning. Honestly, as affordable and enjoyable as this set is, I’ll likely just buy a second and build the robot to compliment the vehicles.I build a lot of sets from big L and I’m always willing to try out cheaper, alternate bricks to see how things go. In the past, there was no comparison - the cheaper ones stunk. Things have changed in the past couple years and the alternate companies just keep getting better and better. The bricks here are on par with the big guy and these genuinely feel like we were building $5-6 micro sets - and there were 12 of them!I highly, highly recommend jumping on this set. It’s incredibly fun and broken up into bite-sized builds, you couldn’t ask for better quality, and the builds actually look really good. Going into it I had low expectations (bad bricks and bad-looking cheapo builds), but was cautiously optimistic. What they delivered seriously exceeded anything I could’ve ever expected. Just order it already. You can thank me later.
